Bejeweled

Growing up my parents told me the guy should make the first move… but this time I just couldn’t wait.

“Hey,” I said, tapping the shoulder of a blonde haired guy, his hair nicely done and his tux pressed.

He turned around, “Hello?”

“You—uhmm.. have you seen,” I looked around nervously, “The museum!”

His eyes widened in confusion.

“Oh… uh.. it’s the one nearby the deli.”

“Thanks,” He smiled, still confused.

“Well uh, maybe I could take you there one day.” I asked, he seemed uninterested…. My blood pressure rose and I felt my face turn a deep shade of red.

“Yeah, that would be cool,” He said, then walked off? Was he interested? He looked interested, or maybe he didn’t?

I felt myself slipping away into another world, picturing our kids, our marriage….

_Jemma_! Get your self together, you are completely going crazy!!

He didn’t even give you his number or anything!

I took a few deep breathes then continued on my stroll down the park.
