Eternal Echoes Of Youth

In the quiet corners of my mind, she plays,

A child in sunlit gardens, lost in golden rays,

With laughter like a songbird, sweet and free,

She dances through the memories, the heart of me.

Her sketches on the margins of my weathered days,

Painted dreams in crayon, in innocent ways,

Each giggle echoes softly from long-lost time,

A gentle whisper lingering, a sweet, sacred rhyme.

Through wrinkled hands, I hold her spirit near,

In the shadows of my years, she’s always here,

With wonder still igniting a fragile flame,

My inner child, forever, she remains the same.

In twilight’s glow, as the years softly blend,

I nurture her with stories, our laughter won’t end,

For age may cloak my body, but in my heart she’s wild,

A timeless bond, forever—me and my inner child.
