A Family

“The battle is fought at dawn, day by day, in one single way.

What is there left to say, we’ve seen the same sky every day. Sun and smoke.“

“Not many were born to know how it’ll be tomorrow, many were born to witness yesterday’s days.

Today, no one is born at all. Few are even able to see, so let it be.”

“What will fill their minds tomorrow? That’s the faith and this is fear, the choice is free!”

“Drops of gold have been dropped off.

Our prayers were thrown in the cold.

The eyes of sea, who watched the mad

For all they see is red,

You must’ve kissed our pain.”

“Children, can we see them?!

No! There are no children!

No smile, no laugh, no game to play,

Not tomorrow and today.

After holding in arms, cold, dead ones,

Don’t they deserve

A childhood, not a fight?!”

“They dreamed of blue and sun

For that they were kissing hands

of lies…

For today, to keep their lives.”

“Drops of gold have been dropped off,

We should’ve never prayed to the wrong

How many days from now will it be around,

The sound we fear or our hymn for now.”

“How good it was back in the days,

We had known no sorrow,

And no blame.

But also no aim.

I can not lose it in vain,

How can you want the blame?!”

“If today never came…no shame…”

“Today’s our play, …but, can this be enough?”

“I have a dream,

to live in a country,

in which We’re united,

in which every child,

every family has a place,

is happy,

in which I can feel human,

I see no war nor hatred

trough my broken window,

and you can courageously move ahead.

in which I see you and don’t see weapons.

       “I wish I could know,

I wish it would be written

       on white pages.

I still believe that if not tomorrow,

     maybe the day after tomorrow,

       You will know that:

       I have a family….in you.

            We are a Family.”
