I’m drowning in a million thoughts and feelings

I want to scream over the weight of everything

I scream for help but the words don’t come out

I’m stuck

Everything’s too much, too loud, too bright, too overwhelming

I see you

I plead silently for help

Can you hear me?

I’m tired

I’m tired of drowning

I’m tired of being stuck

I see you again

But this time I move

This time I talk
