POEM STARTER
Confession.
Write a poem, with a set structure, which centres around the theme of confession.
I’m Sorry
I didn’t realize
When I was your girl
You were my home
because I was your world
Young and naive
Wanting to be bold and free
I took what I had
And thought I was cheap
Cheap it was not
Priceless instead
How I wish I could get these
Though of you out of my head
I broke your heart
No apology comes near
I wish I could fix everything
But I can’t and that’s what I fear
You were always the bigger person
Giving in to every whim
I really don’t think
I’ll have that with him
Im sorry
I’m sorry
I don’t know what to say
With I could be back in your embrace
I’m sorry
I’m sorry
I don’t know what to say
I love you, have a good day
