POEM STARTER

Woodlands

Write a poem set in a forest.

Mother Earth.

Deep in the lively forest,

Curious animals gather around,

Halting the food chain,

Just to feast their eyes.

Deep in the lively forest,

Vibrant wildflowers emerge,

Blades of green greeting,

Morning shine blessing.

Here in the lively forest,

The stems lace together with grace,

As the flowers spout over five feet high,

The creatures interest just as towering.

The wildflowers in the forest,

Form a figure with their own,

Dripping their honeyed time,

Into the mouths of the animals’ patience.

Then, it’s afternoon in the forest,

And a bare woman has formed,

Standing where the flowers stood,

Her soft lips curling to the sky.

She’s beaming with natural beauty,

The sun envious of her gleam,

She gifts love to those inquisitive critters,

Who gladly choose to treat her back.

Deep in the lively forest,

There’s care protection in the air,

And a woman swears keep it there-

She would die for it to remain.

(Idk if this poem is confusing or not, but it’s based off of something else im working on)

(I hope you enjoyed reading it though! Have a good day!)
