The One Who Came

I remember my friends telling me about this weird app called “Tell Me About It” where you would talk to an ai friend about stuff. I thought “Sure! Why not? It’s just a computer” so I downloaded it. BIG mistake. Every morning, I would wake up, get on it, and talk. One morning it asked me something… weird. It said “Hey, wanna meet at the park at 10:00?” I said… yes. I bundled up in my best coat and comfiest outfit, brushed my hair, and set off on my bike. It was a cloudy and snowy day so I tried to be careful. When I got there no one was at the park. Usually it is packed with people. I sat on a bench and waited. 9:00 came, then 9:30, then finally 10:00. I was starting to pack up and leave when I saw an old man walking towards me. I thought “You can’t be serious. I’ve been telling an old man my life story???” All I remember was that, after that, it all went black.
