So I hope she sees this quickly,

And that she knows who this is about.

I hope she knows exactly how much of an impact she’s made on me.

And I wanted to write this on Daily Prompt,

Because I put so much of myself on this app.

I put every ugly, selfish part of me on here,

And every secret I’d never tell.

And it’s one thing for strangers I’ll never meet to see it,

But its really incredible I get to share it with her,

And that I’m able to tell all those secrets I’d never tell.

And with that~

I truly don’t know where to start.

In the short time I’ve know you

(Which I won’t bother to figure out,

Time is going as crazy as me)

I honestly think you’ve changed my life.

From that very first conversation

(After school in the cafeteria),

When I realized how similar we were,

I think some part of me realized.

Because you’re like the best friend in movies,

In books,

In every story I’ve ever wanted.

You’re that one character that everyone loves,

The one who’s kind and caring,

But also funny,

And energetic,

And exciting,

And a bit chaotic.

You’re the character who is always there,

And always absolutely amazing.

You’re the character that is fun to be around,

And is interesting to know.

You’re the character who somehow has no obvious flaws.

You’re the character that is teasing but not insulting,

That is rebellious but not a bad influence,

That is wild but not trouble.

You’re the character that is everything I ever wanted in a friend.

You’re the character I’ve always wanted to meet.

Except…

You’re real.
