POEM STARTER

Write a poem that is titled ‘Daydreaming’.

It might be useful to consider escapism as being both good and bad in this poem.

Daydreaming

Sunny day Cloudy morning Watching the clouds pass Peripheral to peripheral Blankly staring At a beautiful morning At ever shifting clouds As I lie on the dewy wet grass Sunlit shadows of night passed Of where stars were Clouds waving like the ocean Foaming at its blue mouth Sunny day Breeze freezing my dew-slick arms Watching the clouds shift Their pinks and orange turning to pure white Skylight morning Drifting clouds Daydreaming In morning grass
