How To Wake Up

Wake up with a song, was the advice a friend gave me the other day

It does make a difference is what I can now say

Still sometimes it can be a struggle to wake up and get out of bed

Especially when covered by warm comfy blankets and a soft pillow under your head

You can try as many alarm clocks as you want

But without a good reason to get up, your bed will keep the upper hand

I found out that the best way to wake up is a strong why

You need to have a good reason to say your bed goodbye

Something that makes you jump out of bed and gets you on your feet

Something that makes you feel excited, that’s what you need.
