POEM STARTER
Write a poem in a different genre to your usual comfort zone.
This poem can be in any style and with any theme, but try to write in a genre that you wouldn't normally try.
Their Smudges: Romance.
Their hands explore,
Searching,
Groping,
Loving.
Their eyes staring into hers, mind blanking.
A love forever more,
Lips resting on eachother forever,
At least until midnight,
The hour of lovers,
The hour of the unknown.
Unknown, unfamiliar feelings, uncomfortable heat building inside of them, as if a hand is wrapping around their beating hearts,
Their jumping pulse,
Their desperate lips.
Silence broken with the moans of abandonment,
Haunting and fogging and cursing and screaming warning and wanting in their minds,
Glossy eyes,
Glossy lips,
Lip gloss,
Gripped hips.
This is the hour of lovers,
This is the time when lipstick smudges.
