After The Storm
Using any form of poetry, write about an emotion as if it were a storm.
it came upon me suddenly, with a roaring rage startling even the bravest. clouding my thoughts, drenching mind. anger has a way of storming into your life.
Love it! It’s as short and sudden as that which it describes.
“Clouding my thoughts, drenching my mind” it’s the cherry on top of a mighty fine ice cream sundae!
Bit of feedback: every line could be its own stanza. Any longer lines could be broken in to bites. For example:
It came upon me suddenly
With a roaring
Rage startling even the bravest
