You are lying in the grass staring up at a multitude of stars in the night sky. Write a poem about what you imagine life on a distant planet to be like.
Beyond The Sky
We stare up at the sky
Hand in hand
Not discussing our thoughts
But knowing just the same
I stare off into space
And I can almost see
Us living on our own planet
Just you and me
We would laugh and dance and sing
Not a care in the world
With each other for company
I would hold you close and you would let me
But in the end, its not meant to be
