Boxing

Lily looked at her older brother for guidance on days like today. He was in his sixth year of boxing. He was hopping around inside the boxing ring training for a huge competition on Saturday. She looked up at him admiringly, “Joel, can you please demonstrate that punch one more time?”

He rolled his eyes. “Fine, but only for you,” he smirked. After the millionth time that he demonstrated it he’d have thought she’d have learned it by now. He landed another blow to the dummy’s face. Her eyes trained on his every move. “You’ve just got to incapacitate your enemy,” he huffed after finally knocking it down to the ground, “and solidify… your move.”
