First Moments of a Crush
I find him in the hall
“Bump” into him
I timed it so that would happen
I raise my hand to skim it briefly against his arm
He startles & looks down at me
Smiles
“Hi, Luna”
“You remember my name.”
Surprised, I grin.
He holds my gaze.
“Ofc!”
I feel myself start to turn red
Am I flirting?
There’s a reminder sitting in the back of my mind.
Self-awareness
We’re standing
In a hall
W/ people all around us
“I’ll see you later”
He looks slightly disappointed
“See you later”
I let my hand brush down his arm to his hand & then his fingers as he reaches for me
Then I’m touching air & I turn forwards & pull my hand back & I’m gone.
