POEM STARTER
How could something so small take up so much space in my heart?
Compose a poem inspired by this question.
Ring
How could something so small
Take up so much space
In my heart?
The ring on my finger,
A token of our love,
It may be small,
But it’s my whole
World.
My most prized possession
Is that ring.
It’s a symbol of our love,
Like a white dove!
The way it shines
Makes my heart flutter,
The way it feels on my finger
Makes my heart feel whole,
The fact that you gave it to me
Makes my heart feel warm.
A blush covers my face
And my heart starts to race
Whenever I look down at my hand
And I see that small, shimmering ring.
Our love may not be tangible,
But it takes up so much space
In my heart.
