Waving gently in the breeze

Quiet

A stone on the ground beside me

Baskets of strawberries

A picnic

Yet my friend hasn’t arrived yet

The stone isn’t any stone

A gust tustles my hair

As I look at the grave

Of my friend

Eat a strawberry

Put one on the ground for her

Remember the gears turning in her head

Screws and cogs lay on the flowery field

Remember the bullet

Citizens will leave anything when mourning

Never forget that sound

A loud

Crack!

A half eaten chocolate donut

A mechanical flower

Never forget her powering down

I saw another model of her

Today

The hero to them

Was human to me

But of course,

She wasn’t.

I take a bite of a strawberry and leave the rest for her.
