Renewal

In nothingness I stand,

Yet the sun's rays find me,

A fragrant breeze, the scent of peace.

Amid the crumbling of fortune,

Hands worn by work, toiled away,

I gave my all, lost it too.

But, still, I will breath,

Claim to comprehend, yet we don’t see,

The world stretches further than be.

Maybe no terminus exists,

Inception might dissolve and fade,

I've savored existence in its entirety; I've truly lived.

Dust kisses my knees,

I lift myself up and walk the path, anew.
