To my past self;

I have lived long enough to recount the beauty of youth.

Still, I’m not as wise should I have lived for another decade.

The regrets I have compiled, could easily fill another lifetime,

And still I wish for yourself to remain as vigorous and morally uptight as you had been.

“Seize day”, and if I had?

Never would the pleasure be mine of meeting my other half.

“Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.”

If I hadn’t never would i pushed until success was in my grasp.

Don’t listen to the men eager to reduce the complexity of life into simple words. Live as you want, remaining undeterred from others.
