Doubt
“I don’t want to stick out like a weed in a field of wildflowers”
Like a hole in the glass
I feel like I’m a burden to you all
Like a broken column
I’m the one who made you fall
I don’t want to be a weight
You have enough on their shoulders
I don’t deserve your faith
Because I know I’m too far over
I’m nothing but shards and pieces
I don’t want to tear through your skin
You’re like a sculpture made of gold
And I’m the graffiti ready to settle in
I don’t want to be a weed in a field of flowers
So I’ll do the honor and pick myself out
Because I’m the stain on the shirts
In a world of hope and dreams, I am doubt
