Used To It

You say you love me

But really you don’t.

You’d put nothing above me,

Except cash, cars, and homes.

You say that you love me

But really you don’t,

If you really loved me,

You’d do the things you just won’t.

You say that you love me,

But won’t let me go home,

Where it’s happy and lovely

Not this hell I’ve always known.

You say you accept me,

But I know it isn’t true,

Instead you reject me,

And play me like a fool,

You say you accept me,

But how can you?

You weren’t there to protect me,

But that’s nothing new.

I’ll get used to it one day,

I do not have a choice.

I just wish there was a way

To make you hear my voice.
