Granite Road
The only desire that Mr. Dresden had was having his road of granite renovated. It had been due for an update and there was little attention heeded to his road. It is a road shared with his neighbors, yet he’s the most vocal for its change. Mr. Dresden had booked an appointment with an aide to the city manager, Sheila Furlow. The meeting place is in the city hall second floor. Following Mr. Dresden with his angst was the months of asking for a response to a concern he only just got tired of dealing with. With a happy demeanor to her, Ms. Furlow was mindful to fit him in for a time slot. Minutes after Mr. Dresden entered, both him and Ms. Furlow were on a good rate of exchange with each other. That is until Ms. Furlow brought up the issue of his volume of his requests. It is not as if the city manager does not notice them, though they should have responded sooner. Like other similar neglected issues that have occurred in the city, there was a zero modicum of care, from his perspective of it all. He smiled dejectedly and threw up his phone, beginning to record a video as he showed his feelings from years of a negatice connection with the city and its government. Ms. Furlow, taken aback by this asked of him to remain calm and that she understood that he was beyond the general process that complaints and requests usually take. Mr. Dresden was having none of it, and usually being reserved, this caused a shockwave to his social media, as he did post it after. Fifty views of the video turned into seven hundred, seven hundred to eight thousand, and then to three hundred thousand. Unfortunate, this had enveloped him in a revolving day by day experience. News stations covering this controversial interaction, now detrimental to Mr. Dresden. All the while, Ms. Furlow is being interviewed and invited to state radio stations to speak about this outrageous ordeal. All in all, the granite road renovation concern, nothing more than Mr. Dresden bringing his demise closer.
