The lights are off

And we only hear panting

We’re all reeling

And bursting with laughter

We’ve done it,

We’ve made it

To the stage on Broadway

And this moment is perfect.

We took out bows,

The spotlight panned on me

And I lost feeling in my fingers

And I couldn’t remember anything!

But that joy, oh man,

The adrenaline in my vains

Nothing every come close

To performing on that stage.

Me dear co-stars I love you all to much

And today, opening night is done,

And dreams of fifteen year-old me

Have finally become one

With reality and wonder

The character once in my head,

Turned to on on paper,

Turned to one, in theatre.
