When I Look in the Mirror
When I look in the mirror the terror of what stands before me darkens the truth.
My reflection becomes disoriented, this can’t be me, but it is.
When I look in the mirror I suck in the malfunctions,I no longer render this as me.
It just can’t be, I tremble at the fact this feeling is real when I look in the mirror everything feels so fake.
An exact copy of me standing before me, wishing it would move to prove that what I see isn’t the true me.
I wish my face where a mask and my body gloves, I could change them out.
When I look in the Mirror, I see my soul spirit and body standing before me.
A reflection doesn’t lie but I wish it would to me.
