STORY STARTER

"I know where all the missing socks go."

Begin your story with this line. Consider if you would like to tell the story from the perspective of an adult or a child.

Shh! It Was Me

I would like to start by using the perspective of a child. oh, I hope mommy don’t find out, I hope she doesn’t yell at me. I’m the one that takes thesocks. I take them out of the dryer they usually attach to the sides of the wall of the dryer. I picked them out one by one. I pick out the colors that I like then I go into my bedroom and hide with scissors. I make a hole in the toe of the sock, that’s opening for Barbie’s head then two holes for the arms of my doll to make a dress. I use glitter paint with macaroni for Barbie’s necklace. oh, I have to stop my story, now I hear my mommy yelling. Where’s the socks? I’m missing four socks a pink one, a white one, a blue one and a red one. I’m not going to tell her it was me. I have to go now before she comes into my room. I have to hide the socks, and hide myself under the bed.
