I And You

I am burning up with a fever, my cheeks are red, sweat dripping down my nose, my eyelids are heavy, and my heart is pounding rapidly.

All because of you.

You, my love, are the problem.

There’s no cure for love.

My hands are shaking as I write this to you.

God, I just want to rip this letter and throw it away, never having to see this.

But that’d mean I wouldn’t be able to see you. You in this future I’m hoping for.

I love you, I love you, oh god I love you.

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, I hope not yet hope for it at the same time just like I want you and don’t want to want you.

I’m burning up, as if I’m a paper alit.

My dear, my love, my heart,

Read this, study this, can you see the dried tear drops on this paper you hold?

I fear I am in danger, for I’m burning up to a fearsome temperature all because of you.
