Memory Man
A fiery blaze seeped through what was rose red painted doors but now a blackened charcoal of nothing recognisable. Panting Profusely the unprepared assistant ran to the emergency exit in disarray, contemplating how his simple mistake could have caused such an awry.
Finally what seem to be safety had approached where, in recollecting himself, he stared before a police chase in front of him . Suddenly a suspicious car opened its doors and dragged him in before a word of consent. Today was not his day. Driving with hast it was now clear who the police were chasing. Them.
Panic slowly set on the man’s faces and his persona had changed in mere seconds. From a clumsy scientist, to a getaway cars hostage. His dismembered memory had him blind to the last chain of events as now, he was rock climbing without a rope. Turning around he couldn’t help but look at the scenery however, as his gaze met the missing rope to his harness, he staggered blasting a loud shout of HELP! Today really wasn’t his day. But then as he though about it he recalled his shift at work ended before sunset yet sunrise was upon him. His memories didn’t add up (as always). Although all in all a good days work deserved a good nights rest. So in opening the door to his apartment. Settling down for bed he fell asleep knowing he’d never truly know what dangers would befall him next.
