Last Day, My First Day

His life and hope had gone dark

He had no one who cared

He was the first one that I knew

His life had gone swimming stormy seas

He was on a boat, waiting for it to sink

A piece of a thousand puzzle piece

Was not in sight, like emtiness and dispair

She fled like she was a ghost

She didn’t have a clue

How short her life would be

My life was on the line

She stood and watched from afar

I was there to witness death

Though I don’t remember anything

And then we left, left her lying in the grave

Now there’s nothing left but misunderstanding

Regret but it’s not my fault, was it not?

But I still wish you were here

Through and through, days must go on

So I wake up wishing I was asleep

Falling - falling - gone

No one knew that you left

Except me, and him, and you

Oh, I promise I won’t forget you

For through and through, days must go on
