alone he stepped into the new world an array of memories a collage of brilliant colors a footprint on the beach leading into the endless seas he pushed one foot in front of the other his eyes wide with wonder the clouds above crackling with thunder he stepped into the ocean holding his head high trying to keep from going under he gave one look back and said goodbye his heart filled with a new hunger to swim farther then ever before to take what was his to keep there’s a huge world out there but instead everyone is fast asleep but he won’t stay at bay because there’s not much left to say and he isn’t the same person he was yesterday so he takes one more step forward and swims away to the next adventure to a new world where everything will be okay
it felt like a thousand eyes staring into your soul. The halls stretched on for miles, each walk a different shade of yellow or pink, or a different outline of a body or blue. The thud of footsteps echoed out, the only ones in the entire building. Their eyes scanned the artworks gazing at each one just long enough to understand it completely. The only thought racing through their brain was to find the perfect one. The one that would help them win the game.
“Caden come back!” Ava’s heart stammered, echoing after her brothers footsteps. He was nearing the other edge of the slide, leading into the territory of the unknown. It had been almost a hundred years since the bombs came and swept the ground from underneath many cities, destroying the houses and poisoning the lungs of the many inhabitants. realize or rather care as he headed straight toward one. “Caden! Do you not hear me, get back!” he turned to face her sneered and kept walking, “Just because we’re twins doesn’t mean I have to listen to you ava.” “no you don’t. but quite frankly you should because so far i’m the only thing that’s stopped you from getting yourself killed!” he didn’t listen instead he kept on walking till he reached the very edge, then he turned on one foot glanced back and winked at ava. “oh not again,” ava sighed and began to follow him. If he was going to cross the line she would too.
