She was so tired but kept pushing on She inspired others to sing her song The lyrics she wrote went like this “Be brave and walk until you are finished” “Fight for what’s right and never stop” “Fight and fight until you reach the top” But her legs were so tried and her stomach was empty But she kept going on knowing other expected That she was fearless and never tired But boy they were wrong, she was human just like the others. As her knees quivered and her head fell She looked to the sky and cast out a spell “Be brave and walk until you are finished” “Fight for what’s right and never stop” “Fight and fight until you reach the top” But the words meant something different this time Could you tell?
The man with the umbrella in his hand Faced much hate but they never would understand That Even though he might look different He was much kinder then the malicious While the others laughed and pushed and shoved He did his best to show some love He protected the kind, the small, and slow And payed no attention to those who didn’t know That him the man with an umbrella in his hand Knew more then others would ever understand.
To mend a writers broken heart Maybe you need to make a fresh start Or scrap an idea and try again For a story can never really end Or maybe all your need is a short break To fix your hearts slow ache To please your mind Without an end, instead there had to be a moment of ease.
