“Let me help with that!” The woman said to the kid carrying the heavy piece of wood.
As the kid walked to school she saw her classmate picking up stones. “Let me help with that” the girl said.
As the kid carried his stones into school he saw his teacher writing a math equation on the board but struggling to bend down low. “Let me help with that!”
The teacher is teaching the students math when a student is having a problem learning. “Let me help with that!” The teacher said
As the student got home he saw his mom making dinner. “Let me help with that!” He said.
“Three, Two, One” everybody said crowding around the clock not knowing what was going to happen. And before we all could say “ZERO” everybody fell to the ground.. except for me, I looked around confused thinking “this is just a dream, I’ll wake up any minute,” but nope, I pinched myself just to make sure, yup, nope, this isn’t a dream, I’m really watching people fall to the ground. “Emily,” someone said, “Emily,” they said again. “Yes?” I responded not knowing who it was, “Come” They said, “come,” they repeated. I didn’t know where to go so I just walked foward. “Stop,” a different voice said, this voice sounded like a female’s voice. And I listened, I stopped and looked around “where are you” I said, “I thought you’d never ask” they said. Just then a woman, man, and kid who looked about 8 walked in, “come with us” the girl said, the woman was wearing a gray hood like the kid, and the man was wearing a red one. “Come on, don’t be shy the girl said lifting her hood down to reveal her long light blonde straight hair and brown eyes with pink lips and long eyelashes with slight blush on. She reached her hand out to me, “Emily come on you can’t stay here,” someone said coming from behind her parents, she had a gray hood, but wasn’t wearing it, she looked like her sister, a Blondie with brown eyes and pink lips, but she also had a full face of dark freckles .. but .. I knew her, that was my best friend Lorelei.. atleast I thought..?
“Emily you can’t stay here we need to go” she said
“No! I have so many questions! Lorelei what are you doing here?” I replied
“No questions right now, I just need you to RUN run as fast as you can without stopping,” AND FAST” she yelled
“What?” I said
“JUST G-“ I couldn’t hear the last part.. and all I remember is falling to the floor like everyone else.
She fell to her knees grasping for air during her long sobbing breathes. She watched as the man reached for the knife, her voice was too small, she couldn’t say no. She knew it was his last day on earth and she couldn’t stop it. She covered her eyes so she didn’t see it happen and just let her tears be mistaken for the rain. She reached out one more time still kneeling on the ground, but it was too late, the man had already fallen to the ground and before she could cry for help, she fell just like him.
