Erm, warning— blood, tied up ppl, murder, cannibalism, kidnapping, all that not so fun stuff ☺️ If any of this happens to bother you, don’t bother reading. ———
SCARLET POV
“Why won’t you listen to me Scarlet?!” She yelled, punching the dining table with her fist as she towered over me. “You must choose a husband!”
“I am listening! I just haven’t found someone I-“
“You shouldn’t be looking! I married your father, didn’t I? He was such an idiot but I never questioned my mother!” Her voice softened. “I want you to be taken care of, my daughter.”
I glared at her. “No you don’t mom! You want me trapped. Trapped to marry someone I don’t love, trapped to have a daughter or son, and I don’t have any choice!”
She sighed exasperated. “Scarlet! Stop talking back this instant or I’ll—“
“That’s how conversations work!”
She gasped. “Take her to her room servants.”
I felt as two servants pull me away from my mother. “You can’t just do this to me! I oughta—“
“Bring her out faster!” Mother yelled.
Quickly, I was dragged to my room and thrown inside. My mother followed with a silver key. “This is for your own good.”
I heard the lock turn and my mothers light footsteps walk away. I looked in the keyhole and saw the key still there. Now time to figure out how to get out.
STAGAETH POV
“Is this really the way boss?” I mumbled, slouching. “I mean, I know your sister fucked up but—“
“She didn’t just ‘fuck up,’ she ruined everything! She deserves this.” Boss smiled. “And I deserve to see her die.”
I nodded. Boss deserved everything she wanted. She was awesome. She was smart. Most of all, she cared for me. Well, cared enough to keep me alive. I smiled and pulled out my lock pick.
“I got this boss.” I grunted as I stuck it in the palace doors. “Also, whatcha gonna do with her daughter? Your niece?”
I could basically hear bosses annoyance. “Oh right.” She paused. “Maybe I’ll take her in too. Like I did for you Stagaeth.”
“What-“ I fell into the castle as the doors gave out. “A new minion? Are you replacing me boss?”
“No my sweet little slave. No princess could replace my favorite goblin.” She said, though there was a hint of lies in her words.
I shook the thoughts of replacement away and let her in. “Get ready.” Boss threw a potion at the floor and we appeared in the queens living quarters.
“Couldn’t you have done done that outside, before I broke in?” I stuttered.
“Of course, but you wouldn’t be of use to me on this mission if I did. Now do you have the supplies?” Boss smiled, her sharp teeth gleaming.
“Of course boss!” I giggled, excited. It’s been so long since my last meal.
I walked over to the queens bed where she slept, carefully lifting her head to succure a gag before she blinked awake, surprised. Then as she started trying to scream through the gag I grabbed her wrists and clamped chains around them, wrapping it around the bed leg. Boss came in and smiled at me.
“Good goblin. Now eat.”
FAELA POV
Finally, it was over. After a long, bloody night, she was definitely, absolutely dead. And I could finally use my shapeshifting spell to look like her. The fun part was done. But step two might be more difficult.
“Go kill a servant Stagaeth. Then I can transform you too.”
“Two meals in one day?! Thanks boss!!” Stagaeth smiled, hopping out.
“Make it quick this time though!” I yelled after him. He was a the biggest idiot ever, but he got the work done.
As I prepared the spell he came back. “Done!” He laughed, licking his lips, the blood clearing. “Let’s do this boss!”
LATER
I strolled the halls in the morning, looking exactly like my late sister. No servant stopped and stared, no soldier I had put to sleep last night did anything other than bow. I felt overpowered but loved it. Then we neared my nieces door.
“Get her out. Do you have supplies left over?” I said to Stagaeth.
“Yes boss! Got that!” He smiled. But the door wouldn’t budge.
“It won’t open!” He frowned at me.
“Then open. it.” I sighed. I had no more teleportation potions, nor patience for this.
“My lock picks are busted!” He whined. “I can’t!”
“The convince her to come out.”
Stagaeth banged on the door. “SCARLET!”
I could hear the princess walk to the door. “Scarlet open the door!!”
“SCARLET! Come on out! I need to talk to you!”
I shoved him away. “Scarlet!”
“Mom?” I heard from the other side.
“Scarlet open the door please. My love open the door!” I said innocently, sweetly.
“Scarlet, can we not fight anymore please, let me set you free.” I smiled as I heard her sigh.
“No mom, I—“
“I’m gonna count to three…”
“One.”
I heard the lock turn.
“Two.”
The door creaked open as my spell wore off, revealing our true forms.
“Get her!”
❤️ Ik when I come back it’s this monstrosity. Sorry I’ve been gone
You. My love who isn’t mine My sun who always shines
If I could I’d marvel at your beauty all day
You must know everyone else does too. You fill my life with wonder Wonder why I’d think I’d ever deserve you
Your hair and it’s waves of gold Your eyes and their sapphire gleam And your voice.
Oh my god, your voice. Your deep laugh. The way you sound perfect in choir The smile that lights up my day
Just imagine that Feeling when
Your classmates always ‘ship’ you two And you have to pretend to hate it
But, You really did like them
Just imagine.
Oh my love that isn’t mine Oh my dear, I cannot lie You fill my life with wonder.
🩵 This has just been sitting in my drafts so I decided to post two today!! Sorry I have been sooo busy I haven’t been able to write as much 😭
I know I shouldn’t have escaped. I know. Mother always warned me of the forest.
“My love, you must never leave the palace walls,” She had said. “Demons await there, and they’ll take your mind.
But why would I listen to my mothers useless lectures? That was what kept me going, running across the moat and far from the castle.
“Princess?”
A young peasant came up to me, smiling brightly. He looked about five.
I stopped for him, not wanting to ignore the child.
“Well, I heard you can grant wishes,” he said, his lisp quite adorable. “And I was wondering if you could grant mine.”
I had no idea what he was talking about, but I played along for his imagination’s sake. “Of course sweetheart! What is your wish?”
I kneeled as he whispered softly in my ear for a few minutes. The poor boy. I frowned sadly.
“I’ll try to help him.” I hugged him, continuing back on the path.
“There she is!! Get her!” A gruff yell came from behind me, footsteps close behind.
Oh dear. The guards.
I attempted to run in my dress but I stepped on the skirt and had to stop. Two guards held my wrists and turned me to the general.
“Ow, let me go!!” I tried to pull away. “Is this any way to treat the heir to the Lisbolia throne? I—“
Then I actually looked at the guards. They weren’t wearing the traditional uniforms for our kingdom. They weren’t even recognizable.
“Finally we’ve caught Princess Annabelle.” He laughed, “Without even storming the palace!”
My eyes widened, breathing hard. I finally recognized his badge.
“You— Are you from Yèlin?”
Laughs erupted. “Of course!!” One guard smiled menacingly.
Oh no.
“No, no— Please no! “ I attempted to pull away again as they put my hands behind my back.
“You can’t get away Princess,” He smiled. “We’ve got you now. And there’s no escape.
I shook in fear as I was pushed further and further from my castle. My home. My freedom, more or less.
Slowly, we neared the forest, where three carriages waited for me. I knew this would be my last moment before they chained me up, so I needed to act quickly.
Suddenly, I stopped walking and stepped on the guards foot, giving me a moment to pull away as he was in shock. I screamed. I screamed as loud as I could, until my tonsils hurt. Then a guard clamped his hand over my mouth.
“Damn!!” The general swore, grabbing my wrists. “Dumb girl! Now we have to leave today!”
Then the guard took his hand off my mouth and walked to a carriage as I tried to get loose again. “Help!” I yelled before the general grabbed my mouth again. Then the guard came back.
“We’re ready if you are captain.” He said, saluting.
“Then let’s go.”
🩵 I wrote this at 2:00 AM, finished it now at 11:00, so I have no idea what it is 💀
Title is your warning ⚠️ —————————
Blackness… it’s dark… and quiet.. Soothing, yes, but something is wrong. Her chest aches, no- burns. There is silence -but why?-, then a loud high-pitch ring, then voices- they are soft, but they grow louder as the high-pitch ring softens. She opens her eyes; blurriness and a blinding light, blue, white… people.
“-s awake….” Someone said, then another ring, then a voice, ring, voice, ring, voice. This continues for a couple minutes, before its finally just voices. Now, she can see clearly.
Doctors! She is surrounded by doctors.
Panicked, she tries to sit up or move, but the doctors quickly hold her down. _What’s happening!? Where am I? Who are these people? What do they want?! _Unanswered questions flood through her mind.
“Elizabeth! Calm down! You’re okay.” One says. _No! No, no, no! I’m not okay! GET AWAY! _ __
“Take the mask off.” The same one says, then another takes a breathing mask off me.
Elizabeth panics, her breathing erratic.
“NO!” She shouts, “GET AWAY! LET ME GO!” “Elizabeth. We are helping you. Trust us.”
“I don’t need help! I’m fine!”
“Elizabeth…” the doctor looks to another, which gives her a nod. “Elizabeth… you died.”
:•…•:•…•:•…•:
Elizabeth lies in bed, remembering the day, one month ago, when she woke up in an emergency room and was told she had died. That day, Elizabeth had comitted suicide; stabbed herself with a kitchen knife. Her parents found her in time and called an ambulance. Everyone thinks it was murder, which haunts Elizabeth. Her parents took this “case” to court, and the police are actively working on finding the “murderer.”
Though it confused her. How could they not have figured it out yet?
Elizabeth is still recovering, and hasn’t gone to school yet. She sits in her room, staring at the ceiling, tossing a small, foam ball up to the ceiling and catching it as it bounces back down all day. She takes naps and eats when her parents bring in food. They talk to her alot, but she doesn’t want them to. _I’m supposed to be dead. I want to be dead. _She thinks to herself repeatedly all day, especially when her parents come in and talk to her.
“They’re still working on finding the… you know.” Her mom says.
“Mhm.” She mumbles, tossing the ball.
“Do you want me to stay?” Her mom asks.
“I think I should get some sleep.” She replies, smiling weakly, to convince her mom to leave.
“Yes.. Do that.” Her mom frowns and walks out.
The door closes and she sighs heavily. A few minutes pass. Then a few more. _Knock, knock, knock._
__
“Come in.”
“I heard the ball, I knew you weren’t asleep,” her mom speaks calmly.
“Yep.” She sighs.
“You’re going to school tomorrow. I think its time. Is that alright? Or to soon?”
Elizabeth sighs, missing her friends, but, again, _I’m supposed to be dead. I want to be dead. _“Yeah, sure.”
“Ok. I love you.” Her mom says, kisses her forehead, and walks out.
She sighs, and grabs her phone; lots of messages from her friends; Emery; _Liz, answer me! Are you okay!? Liz? Please answer my calls! Liz. Liz! _Dad; _Want some water? No? Okay._ Clare; _Hey, I heard what happened. Please answer. I want to talk._
__
She ignores them. She’ll see them tomorrow, they’ll wait. _Boing, boing, boing, boing._ She tosses the ball, before stopping and holding it. Why couldn’t it have just worked? But she couldn’t leave, not yet. Elizabeth shut her eyes, willing sleep to come and hoping it wouldn’t end.
Why is it that my only friend is you?
I cradled the fluffy cat in my arms. Her soft body rubbing against my cotton sweater. Rocking her back and forth I protected her. She was my baby, she was my friend, she was my life.
What do I do to make more?
I looked at the cat’s face. Beautiful. Round. Her precious eyes staring into mine with nothing other than kindness, not a peck of judgement hidden behind her stare. Why people couldn’t be as kind, I never knew.
Why won’t people be my friend?
I held the cat up above my head, her sweet little purr louder as she got close to my ears. I held her up, holding her little chest softly. Her little legs dangling. She was the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Why am I so lonely?
I set the cat on the bed as she gently kneaded my sheets and lay down. I watched her as she fell asleep. Softly I patted her spine and left the room. As quiet and careful as I could be, I walked down to the basement where she was waiting. The girl whimpered, tears staining her face, her long blonde hair messy. She tried to scoot away but her bindings held her quick. I walked up to her, smiling.
Oh, I was lonely, but not for long.
🩵
As the alarm blared, I was pulled from deep sleep. A groan filled the room as the sound was silenced with a heavy hand. Sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow on the familiar posters of bands and the bookshelves crammed with novels and trinkets. I sat up slowly, stretching and yawning, still tired from the restless night.
Rubbing my eyes, I swung my legs over the side of the bed and shuffled to the bathroom. Flicking on the light, I squinted at my reflection in the mirror. Long, layered, blonde hair framed a face with dark green eyes that were still heavy with sleep. Freckles dotted my nose and cheeks, and a stubborn piece of hair stuck up in the back, refusing to lay flat no matter how much I tried to smooth it down.
"Get it together," I muttered to myself, splashing water on my face in an attempt to fully wake up.
A quick shower and a change into some ripped jeans and an off-the-shoulder crop top later, I felt a little more alive. After putting on my favorite black cap, I left the bathroom. Downstairs, the smell of coffee wafted through the house, a small comfort in the daily routine. On my way down, I heard a muffled fight.
“Have some cereal, I got to drop you off, Owen!” I heard a voice that sounded like my mother's.
“I want pancakes!” My brother’s voice said.
“Then you should have woken up earlier!”
Sighing, I came into the kitchen. “I can drop Owen off, Mom.”
My mother's lips curved upward in a gentle, restrained smile as her warm gaze met mine. Her eyes seemed to hold an expression of appreciation— and possibly exasperated happiness as she looked at me.
“Would you?” She asked, checking her watch.
“No problem,” I replied, grasping her hand and squeezing it.
Once my mother said her goodbyes, I grabbed my brother’s and my backpack and headed out the door, dragging a whining 7-year-old into my dark silver Ford.
College passed in a blur of lectures and hallways filled with chattering students. By the time the final bell rang, I was so ready to escape the monotony and head to my part-time job at the coffee shop.
The café was a small, cozy place with a steady stream of regulars. I tied on my apron, ready to start the shift. I began the usual tasks—taking orders, making drinks and sometimes talking to the customers.
"Quinn!" a coworker called, breaking my reverie. "Can you take this order?"
“Sure,” I nodded, walking up to the counter. “Sorry for keeping you waiting, sir! What can I get for you?”
The man put his hands on the counter, leaning close to me.
“Hey, pretty lady!” The man grinned a toothless smile at me. “You’re charmin'! Black coffee, thanks. Nothin’ else, girl.”
“Coming right up!” I said, trying to maintain a friendly demeanor.
After a short while, I emerged with a mug of freshly brewed, steaming hot coffee in hand. The creepy dude was waiting right at the cash register. He looked at me and smiled again. Somehow this time, it looked fake.
“Ah- That was fast!” he exclaimed.
“I believe in good customer service. Is there anything else you need?” I asked, flashing a forced smile right back at him.
"No thanks, sweetheart," the man said with a smirk, his eyes lingering on me a moment too long. "I'll be seeing you around."
“Mmmhmm…!” I nodded, feeling way creeped out. I hope not.
At around 6:30, I started stacking chairs. My coworkers and I always hated it when people came in closing time.
My friend, Katie, walked up to me with a broom. “Hey Quinn!” She smiled, her happiness always shining.
“Hi Kate,” I replied offhandedly, focused on trying to lift the chair on the table. “Where are your little sisters?”
“Oh, I found them a daycare now! Much better then bringing them to work.” She laughed.
“Oh I—”
Suddenly, a bullet ran straight through the window, aimed right at me and Katie.

I know I’ve been doing all these part one, part two things, but I will actually continue this one!! <3
TW: abuse, swearing ————————————
Erin hid under her bed, stifling sobs. She heard his footsteps nearing, his hands shuffling on the walls. “Where ya hiding Erin?” He sniffed. “Git OUT!” Erin whimpered and heard him chuckle. His boots came in her room. “Got ya!” He looked under the wrong bed. It was her chance. Erin slid out from the bed and snuck to the door. Halfway there, he started running for her. Erin screamed as he grabbed her wrist. “Pa, please!” Erin sobbed. “Let me go!” He slapped her cheek. “Don’t fucking tell me what to do!” “HELP! Someone-“ Erin started to scream but was stifled by her father’s hand. He pulled her head close to his mouth, his hot breath in her ear. “There’s no one to help you here little bitch,” he whispered. Erin bit her father’s hand and ran for it. He bolted after her as she got to the door, raging. Erin grabbed the knob and ran through, but was pulled back by her father’s hand around her ankle. Her face landed straight in mud as rain poured over her. Erin kicked him off and stood up, running through the storm. She knocked on his door, makeup smeared, her cheek throbbing, and teeth chattering as she waited. And Ben answered, his face going from tired to concerned. “Erin?” Ben whispered. “H-hey,” Erin choked out, her voice tight from crying. “Can I stay here for a while?” Ben stood at the door, astonished. “Oh shit. W-what happened?” He asked, scooting her inside. “Home,” “Come up to my room.” Ben looked at his best friend. What did she mean her “home” happened? “Do you want to take a shower?” He asked, steering her to his jack and jill bathroom. Sneaking into Leina’s room as to not wake her up, he grabbed Erin a shirt and matching pajama pants as she bathed. “Here,” he said, sliding his hand under the door, giving her the clothes. A few minutes later, Erin came out with her hair in matching pigtail braids and Leina’s pjs. “Thank you.” She whispered. This was not the Erin Ben knew. The outgoing, silly friend he’d grown to like. Something was definitely wrong. “What actually happened,” Ben said, sitting down with her on his sofa. “Nothing alright?!” Erin snapped, hurting Ben’s feelings. “Oh my fucking god.” Ben whispered. “It was him as wasn’t it? Your dad is a freaking asshole.” Her head fell on Ben’s shoulder, asleep, not even hearing his turmoil of anxiety. The bell rang as Erins third period ended. She walked to the lunchroom and ran into Sebastian and his loser friends. “Hey weirdo,” he smirked, eyeing the bruise on her cheek “Did I do that, or are you that clumsy?” The toadies laughed at his pathetic joke. Erin stood, silent, not in the mood for this. “Never mind, why do I care? You’ll get a matching one today.” Sebastian laughed, grabbing the cuff of her shirt. Even though she was a head shorter than him, the fire in her eyes burned. “Go ahead. You won’t ruin your chances to get into Princeton University on me.” Erin challenged. “Hey shut it!” He said, winding up his fist. Erin punched his nose, swift and quick, his squeak of fury comedic. Sebastian touched his nose as he let go of Erin, looking at the blood on his finger. “You’ll pay for that bubblebitch!” Erin laughed sarcastically. His old nickname for her, when they dated. “Yeah I bet booboy!” She laughed over her shoulder. “What were you thinking?” Ben asked. “He’s literally gonna kill you for that Erin!” “He won’t.” Erin rolled her eyes. “Why not? Because-“ “Because he called me bubblebitch.” Ben looked at her. “W-what? What did you reply to that?” “I called him booboy.” Ben laughed dryly. “Really? That sounds like 9th grade all over again.” “No, I’m not gonna date him again. Remember last time?” Ben shuddered. “The time he tried to drown you while he was drunk? Yeah, I remember. You still haven’t thanked me for helping you out.” “Ha ha.” Erin said sarcastically. “Thank you for jumping in Micheal Deeners pool during his birthday bash and ripping my drunk boyfriend off me.” “Of course.” Ben smiled, bowing like he was the host of a game show. “Speaking of parties, you wanna go to one later?” Erin asked. “Trent Smith is throwing a rager at his beachside mansion. Sebastian probably will be there, but hot college kids will too.” She elbowed him knowingly. “You know what?” Ben sighed. “Why not? Life couldn’t get crazier.” “No f-ing way!! Is my boring little twin brother going to be social?!?” Leina giggled. Ben rolled his eyes. “You can’t call me little! I’m the one with a license here!” “Fine fine fine!” Leina smiled, turning to her closet. “You almost ready?” “Don’t laugh!” Erin said to Ben, completely ignoring Leina. Slowly creaking the door open she came out. “Ta-da!” She grinned, wearing a short silky teal dress that made her look much taller than her height at 5”0. “You look… so cool.” Ben blushed. Erin turned to the stairs. “Now let’s get out of here before your mom realizes we’re drinking and partying the night away!” Ben laughed. “Oh fuck yeah!” Erin whooped out the car window. Ben hopped out of the car, wearing church clothes because he didn’t usually do parties like this. Erin touched his cheek and he felt a tingle of joy throughout his body. “There’s something on your.. oh! Got it!” Erin said. “Have fun!” “Wait! You’re not staying with me?” Ben worried. Erin laughed. “You want to head to a bar with me? I thought you hated drinking!” “I-um I- “ Ben sighed. “I guess I’ll be… somewhere then?” “Let’s meet at the beach in an hour.” Erin called over her shoulder. “See ya!” ——— Erin pushed through the rager until she smelled wine. Surprisingly, a friendly face was operating the bar. “Spence!” Erin called as he turned to her. “How are you?” “Erin! Hey there! I’m doin fine!” Spencer looked down at the counter. “Your usual?” Erin nodded. “I can’t believe..” she heard coming from the beach. Ooh a fight? Erin thought, her mind wondering as she walked down the stairs to the beach. “It was just a stupid pep rally!” Sebastian scoffed. “It’s not that deep!” Ooh good, Leina’s gonna get beat up. Erin thought, rubbing her hands together She deserves it after stealing my boyfriend. “I don’t care! You promised! Promises mean that you’ll do it, and I put my trust in you! That’s what matters!” Leina yelled back. “I’m done with this!” Sebastian said, walking away. “Wait,“ Leina said, touching his shoulder.“Please just promise-“ “Hey!” Sebastian growled at her, grabbing her wrist tightly. “Don’t tell me what to do!” Erin shut her eyes. Isn’t that what Pa always said? As much as Erin wanted to see it, she couldn’t let Ben’s sister get beat by her ex. “Sebastian, leave her alone alright?” Erin shouted, stepping forward from the crowd. “All she wants to do is make up. If you couldn’t tell, then I guess you are as dumb as you look!” Sebastian whipped his head around, steaming. “I’m dumb!?” “I’m not the one who tried to drown my ex!” Erin shot right back. Dozens of oohs came from the quite large crowd around the three. “I’ll show you who’s dumb!” Sebastian smirked as he threw Leina to the ground and ran at Erin. Erin cracked her knuckles. This, she thought. This is gonna be fun. Ben stood in the crowd, looking lost. He never liked Sebastian, no matter how hard he tried to make him. “Sebastian, leave her alone, alright!?” Ben heard, coming from the opposite side of the circle surrounding Sebastian and Leina. Ben barely heard exactly what else the voice said as he kept trying to place it. Though as Sebastian threw Ben’s sister to the ground, he saw a glimpse of purple streaks of hair from the challenger and immediately knew it was Erin. “Oh shit!” Ben said as he realized Sebastian threw his sister to the ground! “Leina!” He said, leaning against his sister. “W-what happened?” “Sebastian didn’t go to the pep rally.” She said, massaging her wrist. “Yeah I know that.” Ben said, shaking his head. “What about Erin? Why was she involved?” Leina rolled her eyes at Ben. “You’re so obsessed with her! Anyway, I’m- well I don’t know why she’d help me, because I’m not her favorite person.” “Hey I’m not obsessed with her! She’s my best friend.” Ben looked up to see how the fight was going. He looked up just to catch a punch in the face from Sebastian’s friend Jesse. Bens eyes aggressively watered, and he tenderly touched the bridge of his nose, wincing. “What was that for!?” Leina yelled, standing up. “Leave my brother out of this at least!” Jesse slurred, touching her cheek. “Whyy don’t you shut up your pretty facccee and let your chhheating hotttie deall with your problemsss?” Leina stood there in shock and disgust, pushing Jesse’s hand away and turned to Ben, her face so white she looked like a ghost. “Cheating..?” She whispered, her shock turning to rage. “CHEATING!? SEBASTIAN-“Shh!” Ben putting a finger to her mouth. “I don’t think he’s in the mood to… talk.” But what Ben really wanted to say was, ‘I don’t want him to hurt you.’ “Ohhhh, my sssweet!” Jesse smiled, holding Leina’s hand in his as he talked. “Stop it Jesse!” Ben said, standing up. “Go get some water, or better yet, GO HOME.” “Wow,” Jesse growled, pulling Ben close to him. “I love a man who tells me what to dooo!” “Oh HELL NO!” Ben yelled, trying to pull away. “I’m not gay bro!” “But you’d be better that wayyy! Stooop wasting your time on… what’sherface…oh, Erica, when you could have me instead!” Jesse droned on, still holding Ben and curling his hair with his fingers. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Leina holding in a laugh. The next time he tried to escape Jesse’s grasp, he slipped out. Oh thank fucking God. Ben thought, exhaling an unpleasant breath. “Bye,” Ben said. Now time to deal with my best friend’s ex and sister’s boyfriend. Sebastian flew a punch at Erin’s face, her slender build easily avoiding. She ran behind him and jumped up on his back. Though it did come as a surprise to him, she weighed far too little to push him down. He leaned back, falling on the floor and crushing her under him. Erin cried out in pain but rolled out and looked at her opponent. “Go easy on me now will ya?” Erin scoffed, rolling her eyes. “Are you trying at all?” Sebastian boiled. “Could you learn to shut up your shitty mouth? You’re getting annoying.” “Getting? Aw, you still love me. Sorry but it’s just a little too late, after the fact you’re dating someone and all.” “Oh my fucking god.” Sebastian growled. “You don’t know when to quit. All you want is to keep fighting other people, not just me. Why don’t you get that nobody cares about you!” Erin went silent, staring him dead in the face. “Anything else?” “What are you hiding under all that violence? Low self-esteem? A broken heart? Bad home life?” Erin stiffened up, her eyes darting around. Sebastian rose his left eyebrow with curiosity after his last question. “Oooh, the bad girl has daddy issues! Ha-“ Erin ran at Sebastian and pushed him down, doing it easily. “Stop Erin! I-I think Seb gets it.” Ben’s voice came from behind, his hands in front of him, reaching out for her. Erin grabbed his shirt, pulling his face up to hers. “Now just keep your ego down, shut up your ass and leave us alone, alright?” Erin kissed his cheek, giving him a smirk. “Now run along, booboy.”
🩵 Word limit!!! Wow 🤩
PART TWO ———
Tobias’s sailor hat flopped around in the wind, hitting Eli in the face as he looked around, the tracks going through the gates.
People in bright pink and purple clothes roamed the courtyard of the castle, giving the four children curious looks.
“Ow!” Eli yelled as the minecart hit a stop, throwing him into its large blue sail. Tobi and Maeve lay sprawled out on the floor, while Jade sits, holding the back plank of the cart untouched.
“You should’ve seen the stopper guys.” Jade sighed as she carefully stood up and hopped out of the side of the minecart, Eli trailing close behind.
A man in a wild purple hat walked up to the two. “ ‘Ello kids! What mighta caused you two to end up ‘ere?”
“There are actually four of us, but two are knocked out. Wait..! Tobi! Maeve! Are you guys okay?!” He yelled, running back to the cart. Jade shook her head at the man. “Please give us a moment. This arrival was… unexpected.” Then she walked over to Eli.
“Are they awake?” Jade asked, touching Eli’s back.
“No, but they’re breathing. They look a little scratched up though. What do we do?” Eli worried. “I agree they seem fine, just knocked unconscious. Let’s just get out of here, then—” Jade started before Eli turned to her, eyes wide.
“No! Let’s bring them to the King or Queen of this place, they’ll know what to do, right? The people here seem… friendly.”
“How do you know there is a monarchy here?” Eli looked at her. “Well, this place wouldn’t just be built for fun! We’ll bring them to whoever their ruler is, and they’ll help.”
Jade looks at him. “Well, we can try. But if this all ends horribly, I’ll blame it on you.”
He laughed nervously. “You don’t really think it’ll end badly do you?”
“Oh, 100% I do.” She smiled, holding his hand. “But we’ll figure it out.”
“What are you two lovebirds doing…” Tobias grumbled, half-conscious. Immediately, they let go of each other’s hands, looking away awkwardly. Jade went up to Tobias.
“How are you feeling Tobias?” Jade asked. “Do you have headaches or a feeling of pressure in your head or neck pains? Are you dizzy and lightheaded? Can you see well?”
“Uh… My head hurts. Also, turn the lights off please.” Tobias squinted up at Eli and Jade. “And get Maeve off me?”
As Eli slid Maeve off Tobias, Jade shook her head. “I think you have a concussion, Tobi.” “Did I… fall off… my horse?”
“Yep, you definitely have a concussion.” She gave him a sideways smile. “Lay down, and just… rest.”
“No!” Tobias blinked. “I want to help!”The two watched as Tobias struggled to regain his balance. With a burst of enthusiasm, he stood up and jumped, or rather fell, out of the cart and landed on the ground with a soft thud. The three of them approached the man wearing the purple hat, who was standing nearby with a confused expression.
“Excuse me,” Jade frowned, getting the man's attention. “We need your help. Our friend over there is unconscious and needs medical help immediately. Do you have some form of leader here who could help us?
The man's smile stretched unnaturally wide, his face changing . "We do. And she’ll definitely want to meet you.”
Eli glanced back at Maeve and shook off his fear. He and his friends set off after the man, ready to face whatever mystery lay ahead.

PART ONE ——————
Eli sat on the edge of the minecart, feet dangling, staring out at the vast, endless sea that stretched out before them. The cart creaked as it rocked slowly along the train tracks, the end disappeared into the horizon. "You think we're actually going to make it?" Tobias (or Tobi, as everyone called him) kicked his feet impatiently, his eyes scanning the endless water below. "Why wouldn’t we?" Maeve replied, her voice bright, as always. She was sitting across from Eli, humming a little tune as her fingers traced the edge of the cart. "I’m sure there’s something cool waiting for us, you know? Maybe a treasure, or a castle, or—" "Or a giant monster," Tobi interrupted with a grin. "That’d be epic. I’ve always wanted to see a real one." "Or a trap that sends us plummeting into the ocean," Jade added from the corner, her arms folded as she studied the tracks ahead. "We don’t even know how we ended up here. One minute we were at the station, and the next—poof!—this weird ride to nowhere.I don’t know where my dads are, you don’t know wher your parents are, so why are you so—" “Stop overthinking! At the very least, this road leads home. We’ll be fine.” Tobi nodded, his eyes shining. Eli glanced at his friends. They were an odd bunch, Jade worried, Tobias probably planning the next reckless adventure, Maeve smiling through. Eli just felt like the odd one out. Nothing about this situation made sense. But, then again, when had his life ever made sense? It was always just... normal. He wasn't smart like Jade, reckless like Tobi, or bubbly like Maeve. He was just Eli. "I don’t know about you guys," he said, glancing toward the horizon, "but this feels like a dream. Like we're in one of those stories where we wake up and nothing makes sense." Jade raised an eyebrow. "Or it could be a trap. A test of sorts. We don’t even know where the tracks are leading us. It could be a science experiment or—" "Or maybe," Tobi interrupted, leaning back and throwing his arms behind his head, "We’re going to get superpowers. I’m thinking invisibility or flying. That’d be sweet." Eli shook his head with a smile. "There’s no way this is leading to superpowers. But somethings going to happern at the end, I think. What if this is all part of some bigger plan?" Jade's eyes widened. "That’s actually not a bad theory. Maybe we’ve been chosen to figure something out." The distant shape ahead was getting clearer now, a vague shadow on the horizon. It almost looked like a castle, not clearly shown, but it was enough to send a chill through Eli’s spine. They were getting closer. Much closer. The cart clattered along the tracks, and the shadow ahead grew larger, now unmistakably a castle. “It’s definitely a castle,” Tobi said, excitement bubbling in his tone. “We’re almost there!” Jade frowned, scanning the horizon. “This doesn’t feel right. What if it's a trap?” “We’ll deal with whatever comes,” Eli said, his voice steady. "We can’t turn back now." “It’s not like we could Tobi,” Jade huffed, pushing her circle glasses up her freckled nose. “Hey, thats not fair! I—” “Guys stop fighting, we’re here.” Maeve breathed in awe as the purple-gray castle was so close they could hear voices from inside. Eli glanced at his friends. Whatever waited ahead, they were in this together. The journey was just beginning. If there was an answer, he’d find it there.
