Of Sea And Gold And Blood

Smooth and shimmering,

Sea and sun shining to blind

Far more blinding, the glow of gold

Oh to lose the eyes of heart

Blind to greed, blind to want, blind to worry

To see with smell of salt and red of sun behind blind eyes

To taste what riches bless those hands

Soft glint of blood, a drop of life

Far out weights the weight of wealth

Something I’d never say to you.

I carry you as an obligation, a nessesity, a privilege.
