Haha, I finally sold that fur ball. A stupid foreigner came in and just like that I sold the cursed animal. It was so hard to take care of, with too many rules. Don’t get it wet. Don’t feed it past midnight. What a pain! But now I’m free! Hopefully that foreigner will be ok. I mean, I did tell him the rules. What’s the worst that could happen?
There she is, the girl of my dreams. Her back park slung over her shoulder as she walks beside her friends. As she laughs, her eyes shine bright with joy, but all I can see is her lips. Oh how I’ve stared at those lips wondering what they taste like. Probably strawberries. A gust of wind blows sending her long brown hair waving behind her. And a piece of paper falls from the opening of her bag, which was left accidentally open too far. Following behind I bend down to pick it up. It’s our Chemistry quiz from last week. In the corner is a big red C-. As I read the letter an idea forms in my head. I can offer to tutor her! I have top scores in Chemistry. That will give us time together, and she’ll surely fall in love. It’s a foolproof plan! I run up and tap her on the shoulder. She turns and as her eyes fall on me my brain goes completely blank. “You dropped this,” I manage to mutter as I thrust out the paper. She sees the C- and grabs the paper quickly, shoving it into her bag. She starts to turn away- Oh no, my chance is disappearing. I panic, “Wait!” As she turns back, I blurt out, “A C minus isn’t very good, you need help to get a better grade.” Her face turns red with embarrassment as I now realize she put the paper away quickly so her friends wouldn’t see her grade. Her eyes blaze with fury, and I remember that I forgot to offer to tutor her. “Are you calling me stupid? Get lost dork! Come on let’s get away from this creep.” She spins and runs off with her friends. At first I’m numb with shock. My dream encounter went to nightmare in two seconds. Feeling returns like pins and needles from having a limb fall asleep. What did I do? Why did I have to say it like that? As another gust of wind blows I feel a chill on my lips. Raising my hand, I touch my cold lonely lips, knowing that they will never touch hers.
On my special day There a present lay I tore at the wrapping Hoping I’d be clapping But it was just a map Surely this is a trap Who would give this gift Someone with thrift But I’ll play along Even thought it’s wrong So I follow the trail Sure it will fail I twist and turn And adventure burns This is becoming fun And I start to run Closer to the end I go round the last bend And look under the tree What could it be My heart skips a beat The ultimate treat At the end of my hike My dad with a bike

Todays the day I conquer the impossible. I’ve never accomplished this feat before. Some say it’s a myth. But I believe in myself. I know that I can do it. Can I do it? Oh, it seems so difficult. But I’m determined. This will go down as the day I surpass my limits, climb my mountain, overcome the comeables… not sure that makes sense, but I can do it. Today, I will do it… I will eat just one potato chip!
Tristan pulls open the ornate double doors and gazes into the throne room. With one leg on the arm rest, a half-man half-demon lounges a top the throne. Dressed in the darkest of black armor, his bloodlust eyes burn a bright red. On his right, Princess Gwen, is chained to the throne. Her ballgown is in near tatters and her matted with sweat and blood. She looks up wistfully as Tristan enters. “So, another has come to rescue the Princess. But you can’t have her. I made a deal with her father, riches beyond his belief, for her freedom. She’s mine now.” The half-demon stood as Tristan walked in and grabbed his two handed long sword that was resting on the other side of the throne. As Tristan strode closer his eyes gravitated towards the gem encrusted sword the half-demon held. “Where did you get that sword?” The half-demon seemed taken aback by the question. He paused for a moment before replying, “Actually my father gave it me on my 18th birthday.” “That’s a 4th century Elvin blade. It’s ore came from the forbidden mountains, the gems decorating it are magic crystals from the deepest of dwarves mines, and it was forged by the gods on the cloud altar,” Tristan said as he admired the blade. The half-demon leaned back, glanced at his sword, and asked, “how do you know so much about my blade?” “I’m a sword smith by trade and that is the finest blade I have ever seen.” Tristan’s eyes were glued to the craftsmanship before him. “Is it sharp?” The half-demon shrugged, “See for yourself,” he replied as his ran the blade clean through Tristan’s belly and out his back. Tristan looked down at the hilt protruding from his stomach. “Yes, that’s a very nice sword,” he gurgled as he slid off the sword and crumpled to the ground. The half-demon wiped the blood off the blade using the corpse that was Tristan’s cloak. He started to walk back to the throne glancing up at Princess Gwen. The Princess, incredulous at the scene that had just played out before her, looked towards Tristan’s life-less body, and angrily shrieked, “What the F-!”

I knew this day was coming, but I still can’t believe that it’s here. Today everything changes.
Patrice and I have been together for as long as I can remember. When I’m hurt, she’s there. When I’m tired, she’s there. When I’m happy, she’s there.
Every day and every night we’ve experienced life’s joys and disappointments as a team. And now it all has to end. It’s not fair. Why can’t we be together? We’re partners. How come they don’t understand that?
I want to cry and scream. Maybe if I show how upset I am, they will change their minds? Sometimes this works, but not all the time.
I just don’t understand, why can’t I bring my stuffed bear to kindergarten?
