I hear a confession a broken heart I hear a world falling apart
I know its time for me to appear I know its time my disease is severe
Flowers bloom from within your lungs flowers bloom as the girl succumbs
Cough cough over and over again cough cough there's no help for them
I have but one cure but its too unlikely I have but one cure oh isn't it lovely
Coughing flowers mixing with blood coughing flowers for its you I flood
but what's this? what's this I see? oh but what's this? "do you love me?"
The answer is clear as I start to fade the answer is clear and I feel afraid
my time here is up as he accepts her love my time here is up and push comes to shove
unrequited love her journey was rocky unrequited love the disease of hanahaki
Its warm and bright, emotional yet happy. A sunset looks like happiness. Calmness. Its like biting into fresh fruit and laying in freshly cut grass. Its warm and comforting, strong yet soft. The end of the day, the start of the night. A blend of day and night, when its calm and quiet. No one sleeping yet, but no one playing or working anymore. Calmness. Happiness.
She gripped the ancient relic tightly, feeling the power running through it. She could feel new power coursing through her veins. she felt a warmth consume her. Out of fear, she drops the relic, breathing heavily as she stares wide eyed at the relic. What had it done to her? She feels different.. something she cant quite place... something she cant reach... She feels a sharp pain and falls to the ground, her back feels as if its being torn to shreds, or as if something were sprouting from them... Screaming out with pain, she feels as if she gained control of a new part of her body. She feels dizzy as she stumbles, struggling to stand up, a new weight added to her that puts her off balance. There's something strange going on.... she feels heavier... She shakily turns her head, her eyes widening as she sees... feathers? no, not just feathers.... wings.... She... grew wings!? How!? Why!? Was it the relic!? All these thoughts run through her head, overwhelming her. Her breath quickens as she tries processing all that's happening. She shakily stands up, stumbling and grabbing the wall for support. Her new wings are heavy, putting her off balance. It hurts, but all she can think about is how in the world she grew a pair of wings just from touching a stupid piece of metal. The relic. She looks over to where she dropped the relic, gasping as she sees it looks completely different. the relic which was once a rectangular piece of gold with a small ruby in the center, now has intricate engravings and designs, the once red ruby is now completely clear, see through like a diamond. What... happened..? She hears a voice running up the hall, her partner. He runs into the room, gasping and taking a step back as he sees her, golden feathered wings on her back, large wings at that. He takes a moment to silently process this, then runs to her side, concern written on his face as he holds her up. The adrenaline slowly dissipates and she starts feeling the pain. The pain of suddenly sprouting wings from her back, excruciating pain shoots through her body, tears streaming down her face before the agony becomes too much, causing her to pass out in his arms. Leaving him astonished and distraught, holding her tight in his arms as tears stream down his face...
Always bright, always light, always shining in my eyes. Always here, always there, no matter what, its everywhere. Where is the moon, come home soon, its constantly noon, so I sing my tune. Five years go by, up in the sky, up so high, its makes me cry. Please come back, we crave what we lack, please just come and take me back.
In your arms, I found my home a place I could call my own I don't know what to do without you but maybe its time to start a new though its hard cause I still care I know you wont be there but its time to go back to see in yours arms where I cant be.
This was kinda half-assed ngl but I still think it turned out pretty okay <3
This story is about two people. A girl and a boy. The girl is shy and quiet in most situations, the boy however, is loud and extroverted.
They are both on the way home from work, they encounter a man asking for money on the sidewalk, the girl, quietly and hesitantly gives a few dollars and then walks off, the boy however, strikes up a conversation with the man, he talks about how the man is doing and what he can do to help himself, starting by giving the man a few dollars to start.
Next, they encounter a lost girl, looking for her father. The boy walks with the lost girl until he find the father, then wishes then well and is off back on his track to home. The girl decides to take the lost girl to find security, she tells the security what she was told by the lost girl. Then she continues her path home.
Next they encounter an old man who dropped his wallet, The girl picks it up and gives it to him, "Here you go sir, you dropped your wallet." She quietly says to the old man. The man thanks her and she is back on her way home. The boy sees this, and he decides to pick it up and run after the man, "Hey! Hey!" he yells, accidentally scaring the old man. "Oh my! I dont want trouble, im just trying to get home!" The old man says, visibly scared. "No, no. You dropped your wallet sir!". The old man's gaze softened from fear, to thankfulness. "Oh, thank you, young man." The old man says with a smile. Then the boy starts walking back home once more.
Next the boy walks into the middle of the road, distracted by his phone. He looks up to see a car coming straight for him, he wants to run, to move, anything, but he freezes in fear. His legs feeling like stone, unable to move. The car gets closer, until.. BAM, he hits the floor, expecting to be horribly injured, but to his surprise, the car didnt hit him. He is lying on his back on the other side of the road. He feels a weight on his chest and looks to see what it is. The girl, the girl saved him. When she saw his just standing there, she couldnt help but move to save him, it was like her legs arent hers, controlled by somebody other then herself. They just started moving to save him, a stranger. "Are you okay?" She says, worriedly. "I-i'm fine. Just a bit in shock." "thats good." she responds, quietly. Going back to her normal, shy self. The boy looks at her, a blush across his face. He starts, "My name is...."....
The End.
She suddenly awakes in a grass field. She enjoys the halcyon breeze until suddenly, she hears screaming. Jumping up, she searches for the source of the screaming, her eyes landing on a small kingdom. Small, literally, it the kingdom of Cats. Grabbing her bag, she pulls out her sword and runs over to the kingdom. As shes coming upon the castle, she sees 3 small gremlin-like creature. She quickly becomes impetuous and flails her sword around, screaming "Leave them alone!" in the process. The irascible creatures jump onto her, biting her legs and torso and scratching her face. She uses the sword in her hand to stab one of the creatures in the back, successfully getting it off of her. She then grabs the other and throws it in the air, slicing it in half as it came back down. The last one becomes contumacious and doesn't let up on scratching and slicing her leg. She grabs it by the scruff, holding it up to her eye level. She grabs the dagger stored in her belt and make one quick stab to the heart. She then hurries over to Purrincess Kitty. The (technically queen) princess of the cat kingdom. "Hey! Are you alright?" She asks, bending down to the Princess. "Oh thank you brave hero! You've saved my kingdom! I offer you my gratitude." The princess responds. She gets back up, putting her sword back into her bag. Waving bye to the Cat Kingdom, she makes her way to yet another kingdom. This time the kingdom is more normal sized, very big, but the size of a normal kingdom. Walking into the kingdom she see all the people, not human, peculiar beings. Every other citizen is yet another mythical creature, except made to be humanoid. There Phoenixes, unicorns, jackalopes, and many others, all with humanoid features but not quite human. She walks forward, towards the castle itself, waving at a mothman and and nice gryffon on her way. As she steps into the castle, she sees jackalope scurrying around, tending to their duties. She wanders around, her eyes scanning her surroundings until they land on a certain individual. There stands a humanoid kitsune, the King of this kingdom. His name being, King myth. She walks up to him, suddenly becoming diffident. "Hello KM!" She says, gleefully. He looks over to her, once his eyes land upon her a ghost of a smile lands upon his face. She knows hes happy to see her, but she also knows he doesn't like to show emotion nor weakness to anybody, except her. "Ah, just the human i've been meaning to see. How are you on this fine day?" He asks, solemnly. "I'm good! I just saved Purrincess Kitty from a few bad guys!" She says, pride in her voice. "That's wonderful, i'm glad to hear you're always helping others." He responds. "Come with me, lets talk" He says, gesturing her to follow. She's already aware of the place he's taking her. The library, the place she has always loved. He guides her to their spot, the small corner of the big library they always go to chat. They both sit in their respective seats and start chatting about anything, everything. "So. I'm planning an event to celebrate the successful partnership with the Water Kingdom. Would you like to join me?" He asks. "It would be a date, but it doesn't have to be if you aren't interested.". He finishes. "I- I would love to!" I says, smiling nervously. Im so happy he asked me, i have liked him for quite some time but, I was just scared he would reject me. "Wonderful, its at 9 tonight. I will await your presence. He says, standing up. "I must go now, ill see you tonight?" He asks. She just nods, not wanting to say something embarrassing. He does a slight wave goodbye then walks away, leaving her to her thoughts.
Some time later, just an hour before the party, she goes to find a dress. She probably should've done this sooner but oh well, cant change the past. She walks into a small shop filled with formal attire, dresses, suits, ties, bows, etc. She goes over to the dresses section, finding the ones she sees fit to her taste. She finds a few, trying them on, none of them really sparked, except for one. A pretty off the shoulder dress, white cloth, long flowy sleeves and skirt, tied together with a dark brown under-cleavage corset. She thinks she looks lovely, and hopes King Myth would feel the same. She pays for the dress and starts walking towards the kingdom, the peach sky becoming darker by the minute. She walks into the castle, following the carpet to the ball room. She makes her way in, suddenly becoming nervous about wearing this revealing dress. She spots Myth in the crowd and makes her way over to him, her face becoming more flustered the closer she gets to him. He finally takes notice of her, his eyes becoming wide at witnessing her walking towards him, her dress flowing nicely behind her, her hair neatly brushed, the subtlest of makeup on her face. "Wow. You look radiant." He says, almost breathless at the sight of her. "O-oh, you like it? I was a bit nervous to wear this." She says, laughing awkwardly. "I love it on you" He responds, the slightest of blush appearing on his cheeks. They stare at each other, too nervous to say anything. Taking in the moment that is upon them. "You look dashing, Myth." She finally says. "Would you like to dance?" She nervously asks him, pointing toward the open space with very few people dancing with another. "It would be my honor." He responds, taking her arm in his and walking out. They start swaying to the music, his hands on either side of her waist, her hands around his neck. Looking into eachothers eyes, it feels like the world around them fades away, suddenly its just them, just him and just her, it feels like thats all they have, thats all they need. Their faces inching closer, she feels her face heating up. She closes her eyes as she feels his lips brush against hers. She leans in closer, to feel nothing. She opens her eyes to find, nothing. Everything around her is blank until, she shoots up, awaking at her office desk. Her phone buzzing underneath her arm. She picks it up to see a few texts, all from a man named Mike. She unlocks her phone and looks at the texts "Hey, are you at work right now?" "I'm hosting a formal party tomorrow." "Would you like to join me?" She reads the texts, a subtle blush appearing across her now smiling face. Responding to the text she types, "I would love to."
