"strangers" that word hurts just to say ,strangers when they use to people that spoke to each other everyday.strangers when they walk pass each other ,they were so close but yet so far away.
two hearts as one until something pushed them to change,life came in and said they were both to blame ,the barbaric words they both spat at one another put there love story to shame ,they tried to make it work but they knew nothing was the same.
last resort was to hate and ignore call each other names even though they hearts were still sore,she called him a stalker ,he called her a whore,those are words that make you see a person different then before.
maybe they were young maybe that was the case ,but it doesn't change the fact that they both had to feel a heart break,they were different but yet they were the same ,one was ying to other's yang ,both loved music and one love to sing , he was her dork and she was his queen now there just strangers what does that mean ? Stubborn so you won't hear them saying anything evolving a apologie that may not mean a thing.
there going to walk around hiding there hearts under there sleeves, hiding there true emotions until they mind start to believe that they love wasn't there ,that it wasn't meant be ,tears clogging in there eyes until they can't see , looking in the mirror at themselves asking "what happen to me ?".
so now there just strangers that use to kiss , strangers that in there minds neither one of them exist ,strangers that had a chance but they missed ,strangers that feel broken but don't want to be fixed.
strangers that need to put there differences aside , strangers that need to pick up there voices and stop what's about to divide,cause everyone knows there both hurting inside,they had the love but didn't know how to provide , Everyone kept looking in there window from the outside ,there's no more them there's no more hi's there just strangers with fake smiles and goodbyes walking around blaming each other's side.
leaving on bad terms that no one likes can't speak to each other cause they're running on thin ice ,they always said loving someone come with a sacrifice now they're strangers with some memories that were nice.
"Hey! come on slow poke, we're almost there" the black hair girl said as she stop walking and turned to her friend who was far away "gosh you walk slow" she walk back down and put the shorter girl on her back and piggy back ride her all the way to the top.
"remind me why I agreed to this again?" the tired girl panted as she gulped down the last of her water in her water bottle , she can not understand why her friend loved hiking so much.
"because we are best friends and this is what best friends do, now come on Nessa we need to get back before class start" the girl said as she started to walk back down.
"what? But we just got up here, what was the point of this?" Vanessa groaned, her friend just kept walking "Hey! Constance! Constance come back!" she screamed as she ran to catch up with her friend.
the two make it to there school an hour late, Vanessa glared at Constance blaming her as Constance just shrugged her shoulders "aww come on cheer up "Constance said wrapping her arm over Vanessa's shoulder as the older girl role her eyes.
"yeah whatever if I'm late one more time Mr.Lee is going to call my parents, and remember what happened last time right?" Vanessa said while the two walked down the school hall way.
"yes I know, sorry I just really wanted to hike, any ways see you after school " Constance said waving goodbye to her best friend as she walked inside her fourth period class, Vanessa wave back and started to walk to her class when she bumped into some one.
"I'm am so sorry I didn't watch where I was going" she said helping the person pick up there papers, there hands touched and her heart jumped Al of a sudden, she look up to see Mason landcaster smiling at her "M-mason".
"no worries Vanessa, I wasn't watching where I was going as well, I hope I didn't hurt you" he said checking to see that Vanessa was fine, Vanessa cheeks turned red going noticed by the boy "Vanessa you are red, are you alright?" he asked concerned.
"I uh I'm going to be late to class see you around Mason" Vanessa said rushing up the stairs to her class, she takes deep breaths before entering the classroom, all eyes went on her and she smiled awkwardly at her teacher and classmates.
"Ms.Reynolds you are late to my class yet again" Mrs.lester said, The middle aged woman did not look pleased to see Vanessa tardy to her class twice in one week.
"I am so sorry Mrs.lester" she said to the older woman before taking her seat, her heart haven't stop racing since she touched Masons hand,the bell rings and everyone get ready to leave the class.
"Alright remember I want a 3 page essay on desk by Tuesday" the annoyed teenagers ughed and groaned before leaving the class "Vanessa please come here".
Vanessa out her papers in her backpack and walked up to Mrs.lesters desk "look Mrs. L I'm so sorry for being late please don't tell Mr.lee he'll call my parents" Vanessa begged with her hands together and a frown.
"I'm sorry Vanessa but you leave me-" Mrs.lester stop mid sentence once she noticed how black and blue Vanessa's left wrist was "Vanessa what happened to your wrist?" The young girls eyes widen and she quickly covered her wrist with her long sleeve shirt.
"N-nothing ,a hiking accident" Mrs.lester wasn't buying it the older woman was about to say something but Constance walks into the class.
"Nessa you ready to go ?" She asked not paying attention that the atmosphere was a bit strange.
"You are free to go Ms. Reynolds ,as for a punishment for being tardy for a second time this week ,I want a six page essay about something you would like to share" Vanessa mentally thanks Mrs.lester for not asking anymore questions.
"Yes, ma'am" the two best friends walk into the hallway .
"What was that about?" Constance asked ,she finally realized something was a little off.
"I told you I was going to get in trouble for being tardy again" Vanessa stretched the truth out a little.
"Oh yeah" Constance replied,the two walk to the cafeteria for lunch.

after school Vanessa and Constance walked around the park eating ice cream "so what are you doing this weekend?" Constance asked licking her ice cream cone.
"hmmm I don't know yet, I might just study since our final exams are coming up" Vanessa replied scooping another spoonful of ice cream in her mouth.
"aww no fun your such a boring person, you're lucky your my best friend" Constance said, Vanessa laughs at that, truth was Constance was her only friend since 10th grade no one really wanted to be her friend, who would want to be the poor girls friend right? the only reason Vanessa was accepted into the high prep school was because her mother was having a affair with the principle , but Vanessa kept that to herself the only reason she even knew that sad truth was when she caught the principle in her house and her mom wiping her mouth every time she pretended to drop a napkin under the table at dinner.
"well how about you ask Jenny to hang with you" Vanessa suggested Constance stopped walking "Const what's wrong?" Vanessa asked looking at her friend.
"Nessa would you still be my friend if I told you a secret?" Vanessa was confused of course she would still be Constance's friend, she nodded her head as Constance took in some air "me and Jenny...we um, we're together" Constance spit out, Vanessa was a little puzzled .together? like the way her and Constance was?.
"ok we all can be together lets go get her" Vanessa said before grabbing Constance hand "ugh come on lets go get Jen"
"no Nessa not that type of together, me and jenny are girlfriends,lovers,girl who loves girl" Constance tried to explained more, Vanessa stood even more puzzled, together together, Constance and jenny, but such a thing was forbidden , it was a sin right? after not getting a response Constance sighs "it's ok if you can't be my friend because of this ,I'll understand" Constance's said with eyes filled with tears ,she started to walk away.
Vanessa shake her thoughts away and catch up with her best friend "hey! Const, are we going to get Jen or not?" Vanessa asked like a little kid wanting to go to a amusement park.
"did you not hear what I said!?" Constance said in frustration while she tried to hide her tears.
"yes I did, and I'm cool with it, you and Jenny are good together, and if she makes you happy then its all good, you're my best friend Constance nothing will ever change that" Constance cried and engulfed her best friend into a tight hug surprising Vanessa before she hugged back.
"thank you nessa thank you" Constance felt a little more happier knowing that her only friend accepted how she felt about other girls.
You're welcome ,but now tell me have you ever had a crush on me?" Vanessa jokingly asked but she was also curious of the answer.
"No way , you're not my type" Constance said before casually walking away from her disappointed friend.
"Not your type?! What does that even mean?!" Vanessa yelled down the street.
"It means you're too short!" Constance yelled back.
"I'm fun size!" Vanessa defended herself.
"Yeah whatever,later Nessa"Constance yelled before disappearing down the street.

Vanessa sat in her room drawing when a knock came from her door "come in" she said as she kept drawing she had to draw a graphic design for her design class.
"hey , want to come to the store with me?" that voice , her heart started to race in the worse way, any other younger sister would love to tag along with their big brother but not in Vanessa's case, she was scared of her brother, what he did to her , what he made her do it haunted her , she never told a soul how could she? no one would believe that, since her brother was the only real person bringing money into the house after her father got arrested.
"no I'm ok I need to finish this" Vanessa said as she never looked up from her drawing, she could never look at her brother the same he took something from her , something she could never get back something that kept her pure.Vanessa had ended up pregnant afterwards but he paid for for her abortion, she was in so much pain, the only person that knew somewhat about her pregnancy was Constance, but what could she do? no one listens to 17 year olds, well no one listen to 17 year old girls.
"are you sure, I thought we could maybe play a game on the way there" he looked at her with a sly smile, Vanessa's whole body shivered, she knew that game all to well, it wasn't really a game it was him touching her in private areas while he drove with one hand. one time he dug his nails to far and and made her bleed, she could barley walk the next day at school.
"It's ok I really need to get this done for class" she prayed that was the end of it ,she just wanted her brother to go away witch he did and it was, he shrugged his shoulders and walked out her room, she wanted to cry why was her life like this?sad part was her parents knew,a couple of weeks ago they entered Vanessa's room to see her bent over on her bed while her brother roughly thrusted inside her ,she looked at her parents begging for them to make it stop ,to make him stop but all they did was close the door and they've pretended like they never seen it ever since then.
Vanessa had fallen asleep after finishing half her English homework a few moments later she felt something heavy on top of her, she was about to open her eyes when she felt it, oh god she felt it, she felt it inside her she felt every rough thrust , it hurt so bad ,she didn't like the feeling she wanted to scream for him to stop, but she knew better this time so she just let it happen with her eyes closed shut.
Vanessa tried to go to her happy place, but it wasn't working this time , she heard his grunts and moans, his fingers digging into her flesh, when he finally came inside her, she felt it all, she wish she didn't but she did , and like always he kiss her on the lip,pull up his pants and walks out her room as if nothing happened.
Vanessa crawled into a ball and cried until she finally went to her safe place, where there was no one but her, constance and Jenny, a place of freedom.
7:40 AM
Marcus turns off his alarm clock and sits up on his and Naomi's bed,he checks his phone then stands up to stretch so he can start his morning workout.Today was his wedding day and he couldn't wait to marry his best friend.
After his workout he takes a shower and starts to prepare breakfast for him and Naomi who didn't sleep at home because she felt like it was bad luck so she slept over Rosalie and Ny'Shawn's place but she should be getting home soon.
Marcus never expected to be marrying the Woman of his dreams, today had to be perfect nothing was going to ruin this day for him,a knock at the door Interrupt his cooking time,he put the food on a low temperature then goes to answer the door "can I help you?" He questioned the man wearing sunglasses and holding a briefcase.
"Mr.Ragler I was sent here by Mr.Leeman to see if you would finally accept to the agreement" Marcus knew exactly what agreement it was and he couldn't believe Mr.leeman would try to do this on the day he was marrying said man's daughter .
"Tell My soon to be father in-law to go straight to hell"Marcus slams the door in the man's face and goes back to the kitchen to check on his breakfast, once the food was finally done,she set everything nicely on the table,his phone starts ringing;he answers it with a smile "hello my love"
"Babe I'm stuck in traffic I'll just meet you at the building, it's really bad traffic so I'm just going to start doing my makeup in the car" Marcus looks at the food he prepared and sighs,all his hard work was now wasted.
"Okay baby,I love you" he understood ,even though half the food was going to waste he didn't need his future wife getting into a accident trying to rush home.

"Nervous?" Ny'Shawn asked while he fixed Marcus tie,he was proud of his friend for finding the one and he couldn't wait to hear them say I DO.
"A little but it's a good nervous, I'm marrying Naomi Leeman"
"It's still weird to hear" Donnie joked, no one in there friend group ever thought that they would be attending a Marcus and Naomi wedding considering Naomi was known for being cold-hearted and evil.
"Marcus are you ready?" His cousin asked him,Marcus checked himself one more time before leaving the room,he walks down the aisle with Donnie and Ny'Shawn by his side,he couldn't believe that today was even happening.
Everything in the building was amazing and Marcus couldn't be happier, a few more guests started to arrive in the building.
Naomi couldn't be believe her wedding day was finally here,she already had her bridesmaid's Rosalie,Jaden,Raya her Cousin Gale and her little sister Jessi,she didn't have a maid of honor since she refused To pick between her best friends;same goes for Marcus whose groomsmen were, Ny'Shawn , Donnie , Isa and Jessi's boyfriend Nick,the ring bearer was Marcus six year old nephew Malics with the flower girls being little Mena and little Isabel who were Marcus sister and Naomi's cousin.
Marcus stood in the middle of his and Naomi's Families waiting for his Queen,he could hear yelling coming from where Naomi was,the second voice sounded like her father"I didn't know Nao invited her dad" Ny'Shawn whispered into Marcus ear, everyone knew how much Naomi hated her father.
"Neither did I"Marcus whispered back more confused then Ny'Shawn, he was about to go check to see if everything was alright until Naomi ,Rosalie and Raya walked down the aisle with smiles plastered on their faces, he grabs her hand and mouthed 'are you ok?' She nods making Him smile in relief.
the priest began to speak And Marcus couldn't take his eyes off the woman he gets to marry. "Now it's time to hear what these two lovers have to say" It was time for them to say their vows,Marcus volunteered to go first he takes out a piece of paper with his vows on them.
"Dear, Naomi Chun-hei Grace Leeman, my ice Queen"the guest chuckles "you are my first love and my last, I love you ever since we met five long years ago, asking you out on our first date gave me butterflies and when I asked you to be my girlfriend and you said no at first-" Ny'Shawn and Donnie smiles at remembering how devastated Marcus was.
"I remember that" Donnie mindlessly blurted out loud making everyone laugh"oops my bad "Marcus smile at his absent-minded friend before continuing to read his vows of love.
"-Eventually I won you over and asked you again ten more times until you said yes"Naomi smiles "I've been smiling like a dork ever since, but right now, right here in this room filled with all of our friends and family I get to marry you , the one thing I thought would or could ever happen to me did, me Marcus Joseph Ragler gets to marry you,you are my lover, my friend and my soulmate, until my last spoken words, I will love you endlessly, you have made me the luckiest person to live"he finishes his vows with a kiss to Naomi's cheek.
Marcus gazed into Naomi's eyes as tears rolled down her cheek, but he couldn't help but feel that something was wrong,he knew Naomi well enough to know when she's crying because she was happy and when she was sad,these weren't happy tears,she was crying but he knew it wasn't of joy. Naomi hands were trembling ,Marcus was getting anxious.
Naomi proceeded to read her vows after looking at their loved ones sitting down "d-dear Marcus J Ragler, you've been my lover, my friend, and my heart for the past five years of my life, you've made me laugh, cry and proud to be your girlfriend, but-" She pauses wiping the tears from her eyes,the bridesmaids and the groomsmen could tell something wasn't right "but today at this moment-"
Rosalie slides over and whispers into Naomi's ear "are you sure you want to do this?" She needed to know if her friend was sure that she really wanted to say her next words,Naomi gives her friend a small smile then continues.
"Nao?"Marcus was confused just as everyone else, he felt like he was going to have a panic attack with the way Naomi was acting,she had him concerned .he was having a really bad feeling that the next words Naomi was going to speak were not going to be good ones.
"-but at this moment I can not marry you Marcus Ragler" and just like that Marcus started to have a panic attack and tried to hold it together,the whole room gasped in shock while watching Naomi run out the building in tears.
Marcus had zoned out,everything felt like slow motion to him,he felt his soul leaving his body until Ny'Shawn and Donnie snapped him out of it "Naomi!"he ran out the building trying to catch his runaway bride "Naomi wait !"he screamed as he chased the car the woman had got into, he ran until he couldn't run anymore "Naomi no!"he cried out before sitting in the middle of the street.
"Markie? Markie!you okay?" Donnie runs to his friend and immediately sat down and hugged him while he screamed and cried "it's okay, it's going to be alright"
Ny'Shawn sat on the other side of Him and rubbed his crying friends back "why?!!! Why?!!!"he screamed through his tears; Everyone in the building ran out to stare at the scene far from them,some people were crying along with Marcus,others couldn't believe this happened.
Rosalie and Raya stayed hushed In the back of the crowd knowing that they knew the very reason why Naomi ran off.
ONE WEEK LATER
How did all this even happen he couldn't even wrap his head around it. it's been a entire week since the wedding had to be called off and Marcus had been stuck in his room ever since,all he did was stare at the paint on the walls for hours until he fell asleep,he ate both but snacks he had hid in his dresser from Naomi,he sat there thinking about the woman who completely ripped his heart into nothing.
"why?!why did she call it off? why didn't she just stay with me?"he asked himself that question everyday, was it him?was he the problem? He sighs and ignores the knocks coming from his front door,he didn't want to get up to answer it so he just sat there in the dark hoping whoever it was would Eventually give up and go away.
The knocking seemed to continue,whoever it was wasn't going to give up forcing Marcus to finally give in,he groans and sluggishly drags he is weakened body to the door "h-hey Markie Marc,are you feeling ok buddy?" it was Ny'Shawn and Donnie they had let Marcus be alone for a week like he asked but it was time for them to check on their depressed friend.
"yeah guys I'm fine,"he said wiping away the tears that threatened to fall from his eyes .
"no you're not Markie ,you're still in your tux"Donnie was right,he never took his tuxedo off he did nothing but cry and scream for the past week in a half.
"look Markie we're here to take you to Isa's restaurant , we know you haven't eaten real food in a week"Ny'Shawn could tell in Marcus face that the man needed actual food in his system.
"no guy's I'm fine, I've been eating the snacks I keep in my nightstand " Marcus assured his concerned friends,he try's to walk back into his bedroom, all he wanted to do is lay down and do nothing.
"no dammit! , look Markie the three of us are going out to eat and that's final ! We can't stand to see you like this any longer"Donnie and Ny'Shawn helped Their friend to the bathroom so he could clean himself up then the three of them left to go to Isa's restaurant,it was an Upbeat gothic restaurant, Isa greets his friend's and gives Marcus a hug .
"Wassup guy's ,Markie I'm sorry about Nao, come on I got a special table for you three" Isa sits them in the VIP area and hands them food menus "order whatever you want, it's on the house " He hugs the three of them then walks off.
All Marcus did was stare at the menu and no one at the table were talking"so Nye how are you and Rosy?" Donnie asked trying to break the silence they have around them.
"I don't know D She's confusing, yes I cheated but I said sorry for it," Ny'Shawn reasoned,Donnie shook his head, he couldn't understand how someone could just cheat on the person they were supposed to love and do it so easily.
Donnie noticed Marcus about to cry and pats his back giving him a small smile "it's ok Markie"Could remember the day he and Naomi met with the woman's cousin,that day was the day he knew he wanted to be with her forever.
FLASHBACK
"Oh!babe I can't believe we're going to be married in two months" Naomi was so excited, Marcus was her life and she was his ice queen.
"I know Nao baby and you make me feel like the happiest person in the world" Marcus gives her dorky smile then kisses her on the lips" I love you so much Nao"

The next day Marcus and Naomi had lunch with Naomi's cousin and her girlfriend who came all the way from Korea,he had never actually met them he just heard a million Stories about them and seen pictures.
The two get walks into a coffeehouse and a blonde haired girl instantly jumps from her seat and runs towards them,she screamed like a dolphin just like Naomi do "Omo Chung-hei I've missed you like crazy!" the girl exclaimed while hugging her cousin, the fair-skinned girl let's go of her cousin and hugs Marcus "I've heard so much about you Markie,and this is my girlfriend Abby" gale introduces her girlfriend who stood a few steps away from them.
The four order food and sits at one of the empty tables,as they waited for their food to arrive it was now time for the family interrogation "don't worry babe you got this" Naomi assured him and gives him a cheek kiss.
"Marcus what's your job?" Gale went right into the questions.
"I'm an executive director "
"Very nice,I might need your help one day,oh before I forget Chung-hei have you talked to Uncle Yet?" The area got quiet, Naomi hated her father because he didn't approve of her and Marcus being together considering the man was black and Hispanic,her father wanted her with a Korean or white man so that their blood line stayed pure.
"No and probably not anytime soon,if he can't accept me marrying the man that I love then he can't be a part of my life, I'll choose Marcus anytime" Marcus smiled at that while Naomi kisses his cheek again,Marcus never felt love like this before and he never thought he could love someone as much as he loved Naomi.

PRESENT DAY
"-That's because you know something!" Donnie didn't like yelling at Raya but wanted to know the truth, he asked the woman to finally confess on why Naomi left Marcus standing at the alter ,he had let Raya keep Naomi's secret but it's been a week and he needed answers,Raya pretending to not know anything irritated him.
"Donnie like I keep telling you, I don't know anything!"Raya yelled back at him,she was of course lying but her and Rosalie had promised Naomi they wouldn't speak the truth to anyone.
"Bullsh-" Donnie stops Mid-sentence when he heard the doorbell it was odd considering their neighbors usually knocks on the door, he opens it "Marcus?" It was pouring down raining outside and Marcus stood there shivering,he was soaking wet and he had put back on his wedding outfit.
"I went to our beach house where we were supposed to be having our reception but everything reminds me of her" even though it was raining on Marcus,Donnie could Still tell that his friend was crying.
Donnie brings Marcus inside he could smell the faint scent of alcohol on The man's breath "Raya bring me some towels please" The woman nods and rushes upstairs "Markie you have to get out of these wet clothes"
"I keep replaying the wedding over and over again like a broken record "He couldn't stop his tears from falling"why?!" He started to scream violently, Marcus slaps the marble floor "she, she "he couldn't even get the words out.
Raya walks downstairs with the towels ,she couldn't help but to feel awful but she knew she couldn't say anything,she hands Donnie the towels and watched Marcus hyperventilate,the broken man started to breathe heavily and had the inability to even produce sound or say something resembling words until he passed out.
Marcus wakes up and looks around at his surroundings he wasn't in his house and he certainly wasn't in the tuxedo he had on,he felt weak as he tried to stand on his feet but his legs wasn't Cooperating with him so he sat back on to the couch, his phone began ringing ,notices it on the coffee table that was arm length form him,he checks his phone to see a unknown number.
"Hello?" He answers it but his words came out hoarse,he sounded as if he spent every single day a year smoking a pack of cigarettes.
"Marcus Ragler, this is Ji-hoon Leeman and we need to talk "Marcus felt his body heat up from anger,he couldn't believe this man had the nerve and Audacity to call him,Ji-hoon Leeman was Naomi's Father.
"We have nothing to talk about" he gritted his teeth trying to refrain from yelling"you took Nao away from me".
"I did nothing, my daughter left on her own free will"
"Liar!" Marcus screamed "Naomi loved me! She would never leave me without a reason" Marcus those words but he wasn't sure he believed them anymore,Naomi was her own person the woman cut her dad out of her life for Him,so why wouldn't she do it again?.
"It sounds as though you need more time, I'll be in touch"
Marcus tosses his phone across the room once he heard the other line hang up "hey what's going on?" Donnie and Raya hurried downstairs when they heard all the yelling and noise.Marcus broke down on the floor back in tears, why was this happening? Everything was just fine,Naomi sounded equally as happy as He was to be getting married.
After that day Marcus spent The next few weeks living with his friends,mostly with Donnie and Raya,sometimes Rosalie and Ny'Shawn,he couldn't stand to sleep in a house that reminded him every day that he lost the love of his life.

"-and here is where you can put a pool table" Marcus made a decision one he didn't think he would be stuck making by himself , he sold everything he and Naomi owned and sold their dream home now he was apartment hunting with the help of His best friends.
"This apartment is the best one so far hopefully it's cheaper too,"Ny'Shawn said looking around the area, the walls were blue and the floors had beautiful white designs all over it.
"Yeah and you get two extra bedrooms,also it's close by me and Raya's townhouse" Donnie commented, he wanted his Best friend close as possible, after weeks of crying Marcus had done a one-eighty and walked around like everything was perfectly fine but Donnie and Ny'Shawn knew better, one time Marcus and Naomi broke up,they found the boy in his apartment near death, he had slit his wrist and took a bunch of pain killers.
"I love it"
"Great the rent is Forty-three hundred a month plus I will need a two thousand dollar deposit, "the real-estate woman hands Marcus a pen with a smile, Ny'Shawn and Donnie didn't even pay that much for their homes.
"I'll take it "Marcus pulls out his wallet that looked as if it had gained weight.
"That's a lot of dollars Markie " Donnie needed his friend to be reasonable, Marcus didn't have a job anymore,he has missed to many days of work following the whole wedding situation.
"It's fine, here you go"Marcus hands money to the woman who gladly accepted it "when can I move in?"
"Whenever you would like Mr.Ragler" she gives The man the keys and bid her goodbyes.
"Markie how are you going to pay forty-three hundred dollars a month without a job?" Ny'Shawn wanted a valid answer,he believed his friend wasn't thinking with common sense.
"No worries guys, now let's go celebrate " Marcus walks out the apartment leaving his perturbed friends behind, Donnie and Ny'Shawn had a uneasy Feeling that whatever was going on with their friend was about to only get worse from here.
"Run ! We must run Xavier!"
"I can not run any longer dear brother" Xavier falls to his knees finally giving up on running, he was becoming weaker with every second that passed"leave ,let them only catch me Merlin ,I am to weak brother "
"No I will not leave you here to die" Merlin refused to let them take him or his brother , he lifts Xavier off the forest grounds and speeded off in a flash .
Merlin could smell the scent of the enemies getting closer,His eyes changed to a golden brown as he transformed Into a black and gray wolf with his brother laying on his back of fur.
An arrow flys hitting his shoulder , he howls in pain as he kept going , another hits the back of his paw he growls and stops in the middle of the forest ,all he could hear was the sound of the trees swaying with the wind .
"Give it up Merlin your brother is dying, we can help all you have to do is join us" Merlin turns to see he was surrounded he glares at the man who had just spoke to him.
"We will NEVER join you tobin !, we are not vampires" he growled to the man in the silver red cloak .
"Ah that you are correct about ,you and your brother are special a mixture of your father a werewolf and your mother a vampire , you two are gifted children"
"Gifted? No such thing , this is a curse , I know it was you who killed our father,there is nothing you can say to make us apart of your army" the vampire was not pleased with Merlin's words , he looks at the young boy who was in his wolf form.
"Very well then you leave me no choice dear nephew" Tobin snaps his fingers ,twelve vampires attacked the young hybrid as he tried to fight them all at once , clawing and biting ,in the end Merlin had won he transforms back into a human and walks over to his brother who he has laid on a tree before the fight .
"Xavier ,are you alright my dear brother ? " Xavier weakly looks up to his brother , he starts coughing "relax we will get to midnight fall's I promise" Merlin said smiling at his older brother.
"Merlin look ou-" it was to late , Merlin's smile faded as did his life , he slowly looks down to see the golden sword of darkness in his chest dripping his blood on to Xavier's hands.
Merlin looks up at his brother who was now trying to stand , tears formed in both there eyes "farewell dear brother" those was the last words spoken by Merlin before he fell face first on to the forest dirt.
Tobin takes the sword out from Merlin's lifeless back and wipes it with a white clothe "we only need one of you anyways " Xavier couldn't speak or move his body wouldn't let him,he felt cold as if he laid in a pile of snow all he could do was let his tears run down his cheek as he howled in torment for the lost of his only brother .
