Glimmers of flashes lost within the steady stream of fish. So steady yet a never-ending movement lulling you along to the beauties of its lie. Lies. Lies so beautiful it’s almost true. Yet at the bottom of all this a secret too silent to keep. A secret that must escape . Escape into him. Our saviour and our end. With a final kiss the lake glistening with jewels of our tears became one with the world. A species doomed to death for existing in such a cursed planet. Doomed for poisoning the fresh waters of our spite and fear in order to teach it how to grow and feed. The dark shadow passed across our fate as it rose to its full height, terrorising our lives in ways mankind could not help but submit to. Evolution, adaptation, and joy disproven with the appearance of ourselves mirrored a thousand. A beauty so horrifying that we accept with open arms as silent wells pour from our eyes in excuse of the sorrow filling our blackened hearts.
Dastardly creatures roam the world, Chaos unravels in flickers of gold Under the pretences They live as a spy Separated by a thin fence Good spy and bad spy
Destruction caused helping All happiness melting Follow the commands of you leader Your one and only feeder If you fail It will be too late to bail

An eye in the door An eye in the floors One which hears Secrets with no fears A hiccup in life Hearts with strife Nowhere to hide Nothing left unknown Hero’s left dead Villains left empty When your time comes You fill with dread Once it’s known Whispers are flown Oblivious to their fate untold
With the careful pace of a snail her delicate body trudged through the thickening roots encircling the now hidden ground. A glance back, A glance forward, a glance into the never ending memories. A soft chime could be heard echoing across the vast space as the wind attempts to use her own hair as a weapon and then with a soft lurch she was gone. What took her? What remains? A shattered lantern and a missing life with no support or background. What do you do when a nobody goes missing?
Goodbyes and hellos A forgotten world One with love And one with none To brighten your day Or darken your life A simple question Will you be mine?
Awkward glances Stumbling apologies Broken hearts Knowing words Sorries and tears Unknown fears At its finest Embarrassment nears One broken heart And one with nothing to fear
The tears of heaven shrouded my back as if punishing me for the lives I’ve cost. A simple black umbrella was all I needed to protect myself against the pointless efforts of the so called goods of the world. I carefully trudge along the dark, ashen ground in hopes to find a living thing. That’s all I need. So that I am not alone. Eventually I come across a dandelion floating amidst the chaos edging closer to death by the second. “Is this the only thing?” I wonder as I carelessly stamp on it.
