Never ever under any circumstances trust a smiling toddler. Yeah I know they look all cute and innocent almost like they could run the world on that smile. It's a facade. The most fakest thing you will ever see is that smile. They come out the woodworks like everything is fine and dandy look so sweet going "I love you mommy." When behind them the kitchen is so destroyed you don't even recognize it. If they are clapping and smiling or saying "yay" just kiss your sanity goodbye and pray that you can fix whatever is broke. If it's your sanity I'm sorry it won't ever be replaced. Now don't get me wrong there is a 1% chance that they are being actual sweet angels and didn't do anything at all. There is a chance they just want to show you love and affection in the best way possible. Just remember though it's a small chance and very unlikely. Why do you think there is always so strict rules with toddlers. Don't leave the cabinets open, make sure that there is a baby gate up to keep them out of danger. It's more like to keep them from destroying your house. Oh and enjoy your sweet places of safety cause once they learn to open gates and doors it's all over. Just never trust a toddlers smile.
I had no choice but to leave him there. He has been my best friend for the past 5 years, but let's face it I have grown up and he never will. Everyone is telling me how it's time to move on and that nothing is ever gonna change. I gave him one last look as he was there in the yard; "is he going to miss me, and did the last five years mean anything to him as it does to me?" When I walked inside I looked at my best friend as she told me that I was doing the right and how it is all for the best. I understand what she means but honestly, he was the best pet rock anyone could ask for. I will miss you forever Rockson.
He felt cold. It was the only thing he could really feel was cold; there was no choice but to ignore the pain. Nothing could be done about it, he was left here to suffer and die. Felt like his body was withering away every second he laid there to rest. He was unable to move could barely lift his finger. If only he had eaten when he had the chance instead of rejecting the offer.
What would he do with the little time he had left. Would he have no choice but to lay here and wait for the sweet hand of death to come for him. There was a noise outside the door someone was coming. Could it be a rescuer? He would scream for help but he couldn’t make a sound. Then the door opened and in stepped his savior.
“Really dude get off the floor. I left for 10 minutes to go get the pizza,” the savior said.
Then our fallen man finally spoke. “It seemed like a lifetime that you were away but finally you returned with nourishment.”
The savior rolled his eyes, “you do this every time I go to get food it really needs to stop.”
The the fallen man got up and him and the savior finally feasted.
