Writing Prompt

Why does my heart hurt…? Every time I think of him my heart begins to ache like when I couldn’t see him for a day or two. My heart no longer flutters with the idea of seeing him again, because I know I wont get to see him anymore… I knew I had to leave for my own safety. I knew I had to call for help before I got hurt and before he could hurt anyone else. I knew I had to do it! But… why does my heart hurt so much…? why do I yearn to see him again? Why do I yearn to see those mysterious brown eyes and that crooked smile of his? Yes there were the bad things like when he hit me and called me names when he was drunk, but… he’d always apologize and make me something nice. He always brought me on dates and took care of me. It was like a dream until night came! I can look over it… can’t I?

This is a question that has been on my mind for a while now. Like I don’t mean who built the school building I mean like who came up with like the idea of school. Like don’t get me wrong I love going to school. I just would honestly love to be able to talk to like the people that came up with the idea for it. Especially like the structure that we have now. I don’t necessarily agree with the excess work involved but I mean if it helps get the answer I guess... Another thing is that I would love to know who thought that the way they teachers are taught was a good idea. Like I am going to school to get my associates degree in elementary school teaching and I have not really had many classes that teach you how to teach. Like my history class is a normal history class and like we have to take things like a physical education course.

Buzzing noises fill my head.... sparks go flying. Blank screen with one word: Error. Shit. My computer broke. Suddenly I hear a voice. Clear and unwavering. Indescribable. “He did not come from anywhere. He had no beginning, and will have no end. He is the eternal, self- existing Being.” Yeahhhhh....uhhhhhh.... “Wait, what did you say, Siri?”

Why does she always do this to me. When did it get so bad. What is it she wants from me. How to I tell her how this makes me feel. Where was this side of here when we were just dating. Who made her like this.

Patrick only has a semester left of Spanish III, and really should’ve remembered “como estas” by his third year, but senora Fitzpatrick of Regis Catholic Schools won’t know the difference..

Because this is the twentieth swipe right Because everyone is starting to look the same So what the hell Why not shake things up, another way to twist the same empty questions into something punchy and exciting and mysterious?
