Once there’s a teacher from Alabamer

She tried to show them kids some grammar.

She said it’s “I saw”

“I seen” ‘s against the law.

And if y’all say it again, you’ll get the hammer....

He was a Philippine

Nicest guy never mean

Short and stout,

Seldom you’d hear his shout.

About his teens

Taught English lit

Seldom he’d sit

Often with laughter

He would banter

“You all are fools and twits....

There once was a teacher named Wright,

Whose head was a shiny, bald sight.

And though I thought he was mean,

He saw potential in me,

Now his lessons shine ever so bright.

I always thought it was berserk,

That he assigned so much homework,

But his tough love,

Pushed me beyond and above,

So I suppose he wasn’t that big of a jerk....

Mr. B meant a lot to me

He was centimeters tall, only three

He scampered and hopped.

Truly, he taught me a lot

Sadly they never let the mouse get his degree...

Mrs. W. was my only friend in 5th grade.

When the bell rang, the kids left, I stayed.

She provided an escape.

For my dreams to take shape.

And for all my fears to fade....

Oh Ms Hatter Ms Hatter

She couldn’t be fatter

Miserable she made every kid

Her glee she never hid

Glad she fell off that ladder...

The funny and articulate lad

Was bamboozled by he who was glad.

He emptied the lad’s desk which left a mess,

While the lad bellowed for recess.

Oh boy was the lad mad!...

My teacher Ms. decker one day was a mess.

Her class tarantula passed away when we was out to recess.

Ms. Decker was in denial when we said it was dead.

She said that the tarantula was not and probably didn’t go to bed.

I knew she was grieving by the way she was dressed....

Mother Africa, she teaches you how to survive

Amidst the darkness you learn to thrive

No better place to teach you survival skills

Come here one day for all the thrills and spills

And then go back and announce “Wow, I’m still alive!’...
