Destitute.
Sacrificial.
Emphatic.
Write a poem, in any style, that contains these three words. Hint: Emphatic and empathetic do not mean the same thing.

Dear no named, How does it feel taking the blame, Drowning in sacrificial shame?
In a world which you are nobody, You can never be somebody.
Are your actions worth it, Even if they leave you destitute?
Is it not that you are aware, Is it not that you are in despair?
Have I not been emphatic, Thinking with your heart will get you nowhere.
So today I donāt feel emphatic Exhaustion has taken over me Destitute of any proper ideas My bed and pillow are all I can see.
So please donāt get me wrong If I donāt make any sense today Just being awake feels sacrificial Canāt keep my sleep at bay.
Iāll try to behave better tomorrow And write something more interesting For now Iāll drift to La La Land Canāt wait until Iām sleeping.
(Best I could come up with when Iām so tired but still want to keep my streak š)
This that we are going through will leave many destitute. We are told to not go outside Only what is necessary, many are used as sacrificial pawns groceries, gasoline, juices, dispensaries consumerās no longer empathetic Essential workers exposing themselves Why do people feel entitled to great customer service Dangling customer is always right in their faces. Respect has been forgotten in times of trouble.

If your still working, you are sacrificial For companies and employees, nothing is mutually beneficial
Unemployment will keep you from becoming destitute Get paid to stay home, right in that birthday suit
Iāve been on my own for too long, I canāt keep up with myself, Iām left destitute, slowly crumbling, There is nothing else I can do
You made your promises like soap bubbles, They looked beautiful at a glance, As they come closer, they melt away, There is nothing else I can do for you
I am the sacrificial lamb you offer up, You parade me in private, and hide me in public, It was never about me, you were ashamed, There is nothing else I can do for you
I was emphatic, overjoyed, enamoured, It was a dream to be in the bedroom with you, When we go out, you donāt hold me hand, There is nothing else I can do for you
You are the problem, and Iām all out of love, I pick you up whenever you fall, I bleed myself to stop you from hurting, There is nothing else I can do for you
Why do I feel pathetic For feeling emphatic? Like Iām being used And ran through like credit.
I would be sacrificial For the ones I love most I get too attached And donāt know how to let go
I get too close And when the energy isnāt returned It leaves a empty hole like the nostril At the bottom of my nose šŖ
I know I canāt be what you want I canāt be him or her Iām a liability and an absolute Iām just destitute And I will not keep getting hurt, Keep my distance and be in solitude
