How does it feel taking the blame,

Drowning in sacrificial shame?

In a world which you are nobody,

You can never be somebody.

Are your actions worth it,

Even if they leave you destitute?

Is it not that you are aware,

Is it not that you are in despair?

Have I not been emphatic,

Thinking with your heart will get you nowhere....

So today I don’t feel emphatic

Exhaustion has taken over me

My bed and pillow are all I can see.
