With age comes wisdom

Goes the old adage

The consolation prize given

As our bodies decay

The lesson I’ve learned

In my time on this Earth

Remember how much

A good life is worth

The chances not taken

May feel like the safe bet

But will cost you so dearly

A heart filled with regret

Don’t be afraid to be authentically you

Live your life fully, deeply and true.
