I wore my yellow dress the day I met you,

I believe now, it was the perfect color

for talking small things like weather,

and the reason of your smile.

And you wore blue.

Then, one day, at the bookstore, you came closer,

with a yellow book full of poetry!

You read it whispering, each word of yours

making love and music inside of me.

And your eyes - bright blue.

I never told how blue my heart was feeling,

that day I saw you holding tight her hand.

You looked away, blaming the bright sunlight

And gave her yellow flowers.
