I love the first four lines: they are simple, poignant, and strong!
I also enjoyed the pairing of “she tried” and “she is tired”.
a few things I think could help this poem:
1. it would be helpful for the reader(s) if it was in stanza; I think it would be very appropriate for this poem in particular.
2. instead of saying “texts Her”, I personally would callback to the poem’s start and say something like, “texts She, not her.” although grammatically incorrect, with the alternating capitalization idea in this poem this phrasing would make it hit a bit harder!
