POEM STARTER

Write a poem using multiple rhetorical questions, where the narrator is questioning their own judgement or viewpoint.

You could use the questions to make the reader think, or to show how doubtful the narrator is of their own stance.

The Power Of Words(Tw)

Do you know everyone’s stories

Do you know what they’ve been through

What they’re going through

The answer is that you don’t

So be kind to others no matter what

Say nice things our nothings at all

If they consistently do bad things

Then say there not a nice person

They can fix that if they try

Don’t say things like “your a monster”

Because that implies unfixable

Don’t tell them to kill themselves

What if they actually do it

What yay no more monster

Well they’re a human to

Why can’t people understand that

You don’t know what your talking about

So don’t try and say you do

Lead with kindness

Take the high road

Even if they may not “deserve” it

Because at the end of the day

Everyone deserves kindness

Just remember that
