I once was lost, like a abandoned puppy with no place to call home. I would beg for someone’s, anyone’s help; and yet I remained unheard.

That was until I met him. My reason for living, my hope, my husband, my hero.

He is fierce like a dragon, protective like a bear, loyal like a swan, and loves like there’s no tomorrow.

I never felt this kind of warmth. The kind that continues to pull you in even when the cold no longer bothers you. His presence causes me to feel an absolute peace, that not even hurricanes can displace.

His voice is like a lullaby that I wish to hear endlessly everyday. Gentle, sweet and loving. Something that I never experienced my entire life.

When he protects me I feel invisible; not even a bullet can stop him. He is strong, courageous and selfless like a dragon protecting its mate.

This lost puppy has finally found a home in the presence of a dragon; where he goes, I go. And where his heart lays, is where I will stay. Forever.
