POEM STARTER

The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; a place once so magical now hurt to behold.

Write a rhyming poem that ends with this line.

The Sky

The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; a place once so magical,

Now hurt to behold.

To behold the dark night,

Stary skies,

And all of that magic now,

Gone.

The magic was what held this place together,

The bubbling magic,

The charming towers,

I could just stare at it all for hours.

Now that all of that is no more,

I wonder what was it was all for?

All alone in the dark,

We have all lost our magical spark.

The sky shines no more,

As I wonder what did we do this all for?

A war of death,

Fear and promise,

Now completely over,

But now we just sit here in pain.

Explaination:

This peom is about the last scene of many war movies, alone, with no hope, self doubting, and not being able to see a bright side, hope you enjoy :).
