_I despise this book,_

_With all of my remaining energy,_

_But what if it pays the bills?_

_Maybe people enjoy boring tales,_

_With plots and characters that underwhelm-_

_Why is it so hard to think sweetly?_

_This damn book is a pool,_

_That sinks me in bottomless stress, debt,_

_But what if my work rescues me?_

_Maybe I’m a great author,_

_That made this dry idea into something ripe;_

_Is this story as bad as I believe?_

_Yes, it most definitely is;_

_I would’ve concluded it by now if not,_

_Why must procrastination invade me?_

_All of this stalling is tiring me,_

_And the coffee I’ve overconsumed is proof,_

_Should I take a rest?_
