POEM STARTER

Write a poem in which every line begins with the first letter of your name.

While this isn’t a conventional poetic form, it is interesting to play around with constraints. See how many words connect to your name!

And Over

And I think I love you, indefinitely and unwavering.

Always the victim to obsession, always the victim to your body.

Apparently your ultimatums as well.

Abuse me and my heart, all for you.

All for you.

As my heart drops, and my teardrops patter, tell me you love me again.

Again and again until your voice is gone, until my throat hurts.

Abandon all senses.

Abducting my mind, locking it away.

Away in a cold, shivering place that no one can reach.

Anguish loving me all over, anger washing over my flushed body.

Anyway, I’ll thank you.

All over again.

All over and all over and all over until it’s over.
