We Regret To Inform You
That was how the letter started.
“Dear Sir/Madam,
We regret to inform you that your story doesn’t fit our needs.
In fact, it kinda sucks, to be perfectly honest. Robots in love? Cmon, it’s been done.
Anyway, send us more stuff because we liked the part about the turtle.
Yours sincerely,
Sci-fi Today”
I crinkled up the letter and threw it in the fireplace.
“That’s really lame,” Marcus commented. “I’m a tortoise, not a turtle.”
